NJM 17 – Bye Bye Big Red.

 Dear Diary;

So I noticed that today’s prompt is a car entry and I actually have something to say about cars today!

Unfortunately, I don’t think I have any pictures of big red to post, but I can tell you that it’s been sold for parts. Yup, Big Red is dead. I haven’t driven it since the brakes went about this time last year and it’s been sitting in the drive way taking up space. Big Red was dead long ago- but  now it’s officially gone to the scrapper. Mom said they busted the windows out and put it on the top of a stack of 4 other cars. I think she was a little sentimental, since it’s the car we (my brother and I) both learned how to drive in. I’m not all that sad to see it go though- I didn’t care for that car and it was nothing but trouble once it became "my" car. I think dad said he got $175 for it- and he gave me $50 as my share.

I think a new car is coming my way soon though. We’ll see.
