NJM 6 – 2 years

 Dear Diary;

I almost forgot how sucky Novembers have been for this family until I got on facebook this morning and was reminded by this post from my cousin:

It`s been two years since I lost my dad to cancer. It`s been two years since i`ve seen his face. It`s been two years since i`ve felt his arms wrapped around me. And its been two years since i`ve felt 100% happy. R.I.P Daddy. You`ll never know how much i loved you.. and how much i need you. Love you forever and always daddy. ♥

 Tears? You bet.
November 6th is one of those days I just wont ever forget, you know? I made it sound like I had forgotten just now, but I didn’t. I couldn’t. It’s not just the anniversary of my Uncle’s death, but also of my Grandpa’s. And guess what- in two days, it’s the anniversary of my Grandma’s passing too. Oh joy, November is great. In the middle of all the death is my youngest cousin’s birthday. Tomorrow he turns 7 and I’m taking him (along with my other cousin, the one who wrote the above) skating and teaching him how. It should be a good day.

Anyway.. enough sadness.

I’m having more shoe troubles. I have to find a pair for work that are comfortable, look nice and are non-slip. Do you know how hard that is for someone with size 11 feet? Especially this time of year when you know that you’ll need boots soon. Fuck me. mom ordered me a pair from Sears and they came today- but they suck and they’re not comfortable, so they’re going back.

I just looked out the window and it’s snowing.

I came home from work yesterday and started the fire because it was cold in here- and I was determined to get a good fire going. I had that thing so fired up that it burned all night and into the morning. When we got up this morning it was still going!! huzzah! I threw a couple more logs on and away I went.

None of our tv’s are working today, which is strange. We haven’t figured that out yet.

I have the opposite shoe problem; my shoes are a 3-4 in kids and all the “cool” shoes and boots look like something the kid should wear and not the mom.

For work shoes, try Mark’s Work Wearhouse. I’ve found some good comfy ones there that are suitable for work and are all non-slip.

sad 🙁 *hugz* . hope you find your shoes! I’m a size 9-10 depends on the style and my feet are wide 🙁 Have you tried walmart? they can be decent sometimes.

Sorry that November is a hard month for you. ** big hugs **
