Three hundred and something..

 Dear Diary;

THREE FREAKING HUNDRED (and some) dollars!! For a pair of glasses and an eye exam. Fuck me with a spoon. That’s a lot of money.

I got my eyes checked today- of course I need new glasses. My left eye has gotten quite bad I guess. My right eye (where I get headaches..) is doing all the work. Anyway, I’m near-sighted.

I’m hoping ma and pa will chip in on the glasses. I can’t afford this right now- especially if I want to move.

Speaking of which, I haven’t heard from any of the jobs I applied for in Ottawa, but I did get a call this morning about the one my parents forced me to apply to in Carleton Place. I have an interview with them on Thursday morning and I less than thrilled about it. Yeah, it’s a job and it’s money- but it puts a serious cramp in my plan to move to Ottawa. If I get the job, I can kiss the apartment goodbye.

Sigh.
