Frustration

Dear Diary;

I’ve been fighting with my computer for over an hour, trying to figure something out for this damn diary layout. I don’t like anything. I have a picture in my head for what I want it to look like, but try as I might, I just can’t find the perfect picture or the perfect code to make it happen. It’s frustrating.

I’m over the whole halloween thing now. I can’t say it didn’t live up to my expectations because really, I didn’t have any. Maybe next year will be better- maybe it won’t. Christmas is more my kind of holiday anyway.

It’s finally November. October was beginning to seem like it would never end. October was pretty miserable as far as weather went and it’s not looking much better for November. Granted, today was absolutely beautiful, but "they" are calling for nothing but rain and cold for the next week. I know there are people who love the rain, but I can not say I am one of them. Perhaps if I was not living in a particularily rainy area I would enjoy it more.

This November marks the 1st anniversary of my uncles death, the 3rd anniversary of my Nanny’s death and the 23rd anniversary of my grandpa’s death. That’s a lot of death for one month- and they’re all around the same day. In fact, my uncle and my grandpa died on the same day- 22 years apart, and my nanny died 2 days after. Right in the middle of those two days? My cousin’s 6th birthday.

Erin’s birthday is also this month and although I’d like to do something special for her- I just don’t have the money.

This months "Photo Scavenger" list is particularily challenging. There are things on the list like "an opportunity" and "a crime". I have some ideas, but I think it might be difficult to get them. We’ll see.

I’m pretty tired now and not feeling all that great, so I’m off to bed.
