For those who don’t know

Dear Diary;

So, a few people have had questions and comments about this camp thing, so I figured I would tell you about it now.

Camp Davern is an all girls, residential camp about 15 minutes from where I live (kind of in the middle of no-where). I’ve worked there for 3 summers (2002, 2003 & 2005) and have always had a good time. It is a live-in camp, meaning I will be there from the end of June until the end of August with only every second weekend off. I’m not sure that there will be any internet connected (and even if there is, I’m sure it’s even slower than here) so I won’t get to read/update until those weekends that I’m off and back home.

I’m taking my camera, so hopefully I can get some great pictures to share with ya’ll when I do get back on here. I’ll live in the Health Centre and I’m going to decorate it and make it feel really inviting (if that’s possible). The good news is that the Health Centre is one of the few buildings that have electricity! I’ll also have my own bathroom and sink with running water. It might not sound like much, but it’s a luxury at camp.

Mandy is going to try to teach me how to play my guitar! lol.

Darcie, if you’re reading this- if you’re back in Ontario at any point you should DEFINATELY come visit!!!

Now, I have to go find my old birks and my sleeping bag which have both mysteriously disappeared.
