Calming down…

Dear Diary;

I’m getting used to the new OD. A few more days and all will be well.

With the exception of the colours on the front page. Seriously? Terrible.  I have hospital scrubs that colour.

I created an etsy store for some of my photographs! Actually, a friend of mine tempted me with her page so I started making my own. I haven’t actually uploaded any pictures to sell yet, but I will. I’ve been browsing around to see what kind of photos other people sell and how much they’re going for. I think $50 for a 4X6, un-matted, un-framed picture of a landscape is pretty extreem, but the typical price for a 5×7, un-matted photo is about $15-$20 (depending on the quality).

Actually, I’d like to post a few of my flower pics and see what you guys think I should try selling them for. I found a few gems lost in my picture folders that I dug out. From what I can see, pictures of flowers are good sellers…?! We’ll see.

Hey look- I learned how to use the picture thingy! Go me.

I was thinking it might be fun to chop up a big picture (not any of these) into three parts and frame them all separately and hang them together. Do you know what I mean? I’ve seen it done a few different ways and I have an idea for it… maybe I’ll try it someday.

anywho… Would you ever buy a photo like the above- and if so, how much would you pay?

i’m not a fan of flowers…however, i LOVE animals and if i saw a pic that i loved the sky’s the limit for how much i’d pay. i imagine that ppl are the same way with flowers…if they like it enough they’ll get out their wallets 🙂 i’m not the most helpful lol we have a pic that’s split in 3…its of a barn thing, it’s neat! 😀

I would totaly buy the one chopped up, I love pictures like that 🙂

I totally love the first one and yes, I would love the three-part pic thing. I love those. I’d spend $10-15 for a 5 x 7 print and probably $45-55 for a three part 8 x 10 set of 3 photos. More, depending on the framing. I like the three photo thing in one matted frame, too.

Lol actually as I looked at the pictures and took a second look, I actually looked around my living room to see where I could put them. So I believe that’s a yes, I would buy them. I dunno about the prices tho. Breaking up a picture into 3 is awesome. I love that look, especially if it can be done in b&w.

I had a hard time getting pictures into my entry. I had to use HTML codes to do it. Did you get yours in via a different way?

well your photographs are beautiful. I have been saving up for a DSLR. my only problem is Nikon has the camera I want back-ordered so I’m not sure if I’ll ever get it. I’d totally buy those pictures. If they came framed I’d probably spend $30-$50.

I’d definitely buy those photos – if they were about postcard size (uh… 4″x6″?) I’d pay $5-$10 for each, obviously if they were larger I’d expect to pay more, and even more if they came framed.
