Cars,References and Noises that make me cry.

Dear Diary;

Cars:

My mom bought a new car/suv today and as of Friday, the old Escort Wagon is all mine. My very first car… awww yay. I hate that damn car, but there’s NO way I’m turning down a free car. Not a chance. It’s not every day you get offered a car.

Remember when I said I needed references for work and I had none? Well I used facebook to post a message asking anyone if they were willing to be a reference for me because I have two old bosses and a bunch of co-workers from Davern on there that I could use. I don’t think my work is going to be calling anyone, they just need the names for their records, but I suppose I could use these people in the future. Anyway, an old friend of mine from PUBLIC SCHOOL contacted me and said she would be willing to be my character reference and that I could count on an awesome one! I was in awe. This woman is the sweetest, most wonderful person. We ran against each other for valedictorian in Grade 8 and I voted for her and she voted me for me even though we were allowed to vote for ourselves (she won). I’ve only seen her a few times around town in the past few years, we went to dinner ..was it last year?… no, it was before Robbie died- but other than facebook, we haven’t had contact. Still, she’s willing and able and I love her for it.

Scary Noises:

Just as I started to write this entry I heard the most horrible sound from outside and I FREAKED out. I can’t even begin to describe the noise.. It was an animal.. more than one.. I think one being killed by another. I freaked because I didn’t know if my cat, boots, was outside or downstairs and I was TERRIFIED that he was being killed by the fisher that mom saw yesterday. I litterally ran to the front door and turned the light on to see if I could see anything- but I could just hear the heart wrenching noise.. so I ran downstairs in tears looking for my cats. Both Fluffy and Boots were down there- THANK GOD. I hugged them and kissed them and put them to bed.

.. I wonder what the noise was though… uh.. I don’t want to think about it.
