big step

 i found an apartment that i’m falling in love with.  it is, actually, a "townhome" it is a 1,000 square foot duplex, two floors; two bedrooms, one bath.  and its only 525 a month!  its in a pretty cool part of town, too.  its on the near southside of indianapolis, right near garfield park, which is the biggest park in indy; it also a stone’s throw from fountain square, which, back in the day, used to be a bustling commercial district, but had declined.  in the last decade, or so, it has kind of had a resurgence.  fountain square has a distinct artsy fartsy, bohemian feel to it.  i’m excited about it.  i’ll probably be moving sometime around the beginning of april.  i have a lot of work to do between now and then.  

the apartments were built in the fifties.  hard wood floors through out.  i will be able to take my washer and dryer with me.  that is a big deal, at least for me.
