unplug!

 i had one of those days that kind of makes my head spin a little, not in a bad way, but the kind of way that makes me feel like my dad.  i did the following today: got money from the bank, stamps from the post office, and rented a dvd (yeah, i rent dvds).  here’s the thing, i didn’t talk to a soul when i did any of that.  it was all electronic, with my check card.  

i went to the atm on my way to work.  got stamps from a little kiosk in the post office lobby, and got a dvd from a redbox machine.  and here i am writing about it… online.  if i so wanted, i’m sure i could have zero human contact.  

that’s dangerous.
