Busy Busy Busy

Work was definitely busy today, but that was expected.  As a result though I spent all day on incoming calls.  It is possible that we’ll spend some intermittent time on dialer, so I’ll keep a small supply of reading material at work, but the worst of dialer is over at this point.  It’s been suggested to me that I actually quit work about a month before classes start to give myself a break between work and when I have to seriously get my butt in gear for school.  As I’ve thought about it tonight, I think it’s a good idea.  At this point, that would mean putting in my notice sometime in late June/early July.  If I end up at NIU and I wanted that month, it would mean putting my notice in in late June, as a month would put me right around the 10th of July as I would need to be at NIU for first year orientation on the 9th, with classes starting a week later.  At this point, I’m keeping close tabs on my applications and making sure there’s no additional information any of them need.  NIU, Minnesota, and Florida Coastal are all still missing that second letter of recommendation, however I’m hopeful that that letter will be processed by the end of the week.

In other news, my parents leave for Hawaii a week from Thursday, with my brothers leaving for school two weeks from Wednesday. Next week I’ll also submit the order to Cafe du Monde for beignet mix (I’ve got a reminder set for myself 🙂 ) I’m also currently waiting on my deseretbook order to arrive.  It’s supposed to arrive sometime this week, probably Wednesday or Thursday.  Aside from that, I’ll be watching my Badgers play at Michigan State on Wednesday night. They’ll probably lose, but I hope they win. Then three days later on the 9th they host currently undefeated Purdue.  My Badgers could win that one.  I sincerely hope my Badgers win both of these games.  I’m not sure that they will, in fact I’m fairly certain they won’t – however it’d be terrific if they do. The other big game around here this week is when Kansas hosts Cornell on Wednesday.  We’ll be watching that one on ESPN 360 here, given that my brothers are currently attending Cornell.
