Law School Applications
My law school applications are done, at least for the moment. I’ve applied to five schools and I’ve got a decent shot at getting into at least one of them. As I’ve mentioned before, NIU is my favorite of the bunch. As of right now, I’ve applied to NIU, DePaul, University of Utah, University of Minnesota, and Florida Coastal. I’m also registered to re-take the LSAT in hopes of getting a better score and perhaps applying to BYU and a few others. However, if I get into NIU before then, then I won’t take the LSAT in early February. Given that NIU does rolling applications, it’s possible I could find out before the end of the month if I got in. I seriously want to know now. My applications for DePaul and University of Utah are 100% complete as they only needed one letter of recommendation each. However, for the other three applications, my part of the application is complete. However when the law schools request my law report from LSAC, my law report is not yet complete as I’m waiting on another letter of recommendation.
In other news, I’m definitely going to enjoy my new primary class. I have five kids this year and they will be turning 10. They’re a fun age and they’re a great group of kids. Today I just had the three boys (I’ll have three boys and two girls when they’re all there). Primary definitely went well today 🙂 I need to do some poking through the Old Testament Primary helps that we have here at home to look for help. This lesson was fairly easy and so is next week, but after that they branch into material the kids may not know yet (today was the Plan of Salvation and next week is the War in Heaven). If the books I have at home aren’t sufficient, then I’ll need to order something to help me.
As I write this now, both DePaul and University of Utah have already requested my law school report from LSAC, so those applications truly are 100% complete. I’m really excited! Here we go 🙂

Well, goood luck with your law school applications!
