Happy Thanksgiving :)

Was a pretty good day, all in all.  I was up way too late last night and got up earlier than I probably should have this morning but oh well.  We had lunch about 12:00 or so and then left here about 1:30 for my aunt and uncle’s.  And then didn’t leave there til after 7, so it was 8:45 before we were home.  It was a good day though.  Tomorrow we’re headed to see The Blind Side and then I’m coming home and taking a practice LSAT.  I hope it goes well.  My biggest concern is the logic games section.  I’m also desperately hoping the experimental section on the real one isn’t logic games.  I’m okay if it’s either Logical Reasoning or Reading Comprehension – just not logic games.  I’m better at logic games, but I’m not great at them.  I want in to law school – I really do.   Right now the step in that direction is doing well on the LSAT, so that’s what I’m going to do.  The real test is a week from Saturday and then a few weeks later, likely by Christmas, I’ll have my score.

Let’s see…what else?  I did put my coat back together today.  Also got to see one of my cousins and her husband.  She and I are just six weeks apart in age and when we were kids, we were as thick as thieves.  But as we hit high school, we seriously drifted apart and now I find it hard to make conversation with her – she just seems very closed off.  It was something my parents remarked on too while we were in the car coming home tonight.  And the drifting apart thing happened long before she got married so *shrugs*.  It sounds like my mom’s digging out the Christmas stuff tomorrow – including the tree.  I’m seriously wondering where the time went.  The year’s gone by so fast and I’m amazed to think that my youngest brother will be 21 the first week of February and I’ll be 25 next summer.  No longer early 20’s, but mid 20’s.   I guess it happens to all of us – we get older.  Just kind of weird to realize that it’s happening.
