Nearly Forgot to Write

I nearly forgot to write tonight.  I spent much of the last several hours reading the Twilight series for the first time.  I still have to read the fourth book and then decide if I want to read the draft that Stephenie Meyer has on her website for the next book.  I’m not a crazed fan or anything, but I’ve definitely enjoyed them.  When I get in a good book, I tend to lose all track of time, as evidenced by the fact that it’s nearly 1am and this is the latest I’ve stayed up in months.  It probably helps too that it’s a short week at work so I’m not beat.  At this rate, I’ll miss out on real breakfast tomorrow, as we’re eating around 11:30 or 12:00 and then heading down to my aunt and uncle’s.  I’ll be bringing LSAT study stuff in the car for the drive down and then will read on my iPod on the way home, probably Twilight reading.

The original title for this entry was going to be "I Survived."  That was going to be the title because I took an hour of incoming calls today at work.  We got much more information shoved in our heads in the morning, and then got to play with the repayment calculator and then sat with buddies in the afternoon, followed by us taking calls ourselves with our buddies there.  At this point, we don’t know everything for incoming calls, so we’re transferring the questions we can’t answer yet.  There are still several things from today that I’m not comfortable with, so I’m making a note to go in early on Monday morning and read through both my notes and the manual to better familiarize myself with them.  So Monday morning we’ll be fronting calls and then when it slows down, it’s back to autodialer.  There’s no telling when it’ll slow down on Monday, but they seem to expect it to be very very busy on Monday, especially since we’re closed on Friday as well.

The one last thing I wanted to mention was the LSAC has now received my last transcript. Now I’m just waiting for that last letter of recommendation, but there’s still plenty of time before I can start applying – I need my LSAT score first and I should get that just before Christmas.  On a lot of levels, I’m ready for all the applying to be done and just be able to leave it in the Lord’s hands.  However, I can’t do that just yet, as I haven’t done my part yet.  I keep reminding myself Soon…..

I’m so tired of the attitude of Twilight having to be the best or worst books ever. It doesn’t take a genius to know that even literary junk food has its place. I’ve read all four, and found them pretty decent, but far from amazing.
