That’s how many Contemporary LDS songs I’ve got in my iTunes library.  Most of them I’ve gotten from iTunes (or can be bought through iTunes).  That does include the 50 from the Ultimate LDS Songbook that I went through and found.  It also includes the 12 or so from Jessie Clark Funk that I found in the iTunes store.  In poking through the store, I discovered she had an album come out in 2007 that I completely missed.  I love her voice 🙂  Given that I now have the words to 50 wonderful uplifting songs, I imagine I’ll be sharing some of those lyrics as time moves on.  The songbook definitely makes me want to start learning the piano so I can play them.  Of course, mom has enough trouble finding herself a teacher, let alone me!  So we’ll see there.  If you’re looking for some of the wonderful music on iTunes, start by looking up one of these artists: Hilary Weeks, Jessie Clark Funk, Mindy Gledhill, Jericho Road, Eclipse, Jenny Phillips, Cherie Call, Michael McLean, or Kenneth Cope.  I especially like the arrangement of I Believe in Christ done by Eclipse.

I plan to make cupcakes this week – I definitely feel like it’s a cupcake week, but we can’t eat an entire box anymore, so I’ll be taking some of them over to the Greers.  I think I’ll make them on Tuesday and then frost them when I get home on Wednesday and take them over later.

Okay, I just have to mention how wonderful it is to breathe through my nose comfortably.  There are still times throughout the day where I don’t quite breathe comfortably through my nose but it’s a HUGE improvement from 3 weeks ago.  I never realized just how badly I was breathing through my nose until I got it fixed.  Now I’m still waiting for the swelling to go down on the other side where the incision was.  I’m still feeling a little stuffy on that side.

So this week is my last week in my current position at work. The following week I begin in borrower services.  I’m determined to give it a fair shot, which pretty much means it’s February or later before I decide whether I really like it.  For the first 2 or 3 months, I’m simply making outgoing calls to delinquent borrowers.  That’s it.  I understand that it’s a way to ease you into it and I’m grateful for it.  But I’m also aware I’m going to be bored and there’s going to be very little I can do about it.  Generally speaking, I’m also not a real people person.  I’m much happier working on my own with little interaction from others and definitely never enjoyed being on the phone.  But we’ll see how it goes.  At least I don’t have to wait six months to apply elsewhere within the company.  So *shrugs* I’ll put in my time and we’ll see how it goes.  At least it’s a job.  And it’s easier to get elsewhere in the company if I’m already in the company.

Glad your surgery is already showing benefits. I’ve got a handful of LDS songs on my iPhone but they’re all from the conference podcasts.
