I Miss Him

It’s hard for me to believe, but I actually miss my younger brother for the first time.  This was the first time I was looking forward to seeing him again, and the first time I miss him now that he’s gone.  It was really nice having him home.  He’ll be back in three weeks though the other brother will be coming with him.  I always heard of other people talking about brothers with genuine affection – talking about seeing their brothers or doing something with their brothers, etc. But I never felt that affection I could always hear in their voices.  At least where Jason’s concerned, I do feel that now.  I suspect it has something to do with both of us getting older.  Our relationship is definitely better than mine and Stephen’s relationship.  Mine and Stephen’s relationship is still rather…adversarial.  Anyway, Jason left for school this morning.  He actually gave me a hug last night – something Stephen would NEVER do!  It was nice.

I should have some pictures and video to post tomorrow. I took another couple of doggie videos, one with Maxie this time.  I also will post a picture of Jason and his girlfriend.  I seriously love my camera though. 

It looks like no snow here. 1-3 inches if we’re lucky.  *whines* I’m ready for snow!  Nothing I can do about it though.
