Giggling like a little girl

So first, I was one of the unlucky ones who had to change their password after the OD security issues.  Second, I’ve been giggling little a little girl for most of the last few days.  You could definitely say that there’s a guy on my radar these days.  First, a little background.  He’s a year older than me, has one younger sisters, and several older siblings.  He and his sister and their parents lived in the area several years ago now.  I was friends with both him and his sister (she was a year younger than me).  They moved away before I finished high school.  As I recall, he dated another of my friends while we were in high school (though we’re not real good friends anymore).   I got in touch wiith his sister again about two years ago.  Then several weeks ago, he finally got around to joining facebook.  On Tuesday, he send me a facebook message and we’ve sent 16 or 17 messages back and forth since then.  The best part is that he’ll be back and with his family about an hour, hour and a half from here come November.  He’s about to get out of the Army – oh yeah – did I mention he did two tours in Iraq?  Come November when he finally gets out of the Army and is home awhile with his parents he and his sister will either come here or we’ll meet somewhere in the middle.  I’ve discovered in this last week that I like him 🙂    Oh, and did I mention he’s LDS?   Of course, my good mood also had something to do with the party we’re throwing my grandmother tomorrow…but mostly it’s this guy 🙂

The other thing that’s been on my mind lately is something my grandfather asks each time he sees me.  He always asks about my love life and whether I have a boyfriend.  While my grandmother knows better than to ask, I can tell she’s interested in the answer too.  While I won’t get a boyfriend just to positively answer their question, I’d like to be able to say yes w hile my grandmother is still here and while my grandfather still has enough of his memory to ask the question and understand the significance of the answer. 

So right now, I’m hoping he’ll send another message 🙂 We traded messages again this morning 😛
