Scrapbooking (and other things. . . )

I’ve started scrapbooking again.  Honestly, I can’t seem to keep a hobby for any length of time.  I start one hobby, and then get bored, so I start a new one.  I was fixated on scrapbooking last summer and then I stopped for awhile.  Until I just started scrapbooking, my hobby was making plastic canvas things.  I imagine I’ll get back into that shortly -there are several Christmas ornaments I want to make.

If you’ve been folling my diary for the last 10 days or so, you’ll know that I’m really excited about Thursday 🙂  It’s my 23rd birthday and my dad has the day planned.  Over the last few days, I’ve gotten more and more information about what’s going on – however I still don’t know most of it.  I know that we’re leaving the house right about 8:30.  It’s a 2 1/2 hour drive or so into downtown Chicago, so we won’t be into Chicago til nearly 11.  I also know that we’re not going to be in downtown Chicago around 4:30 or 5, since my dad wants to avoid the fireworks (Chicago does their 4th of July fireworks on the 3rd).  I also know that we’re leaving Chicago in time to stop by my grandparents’ house on the way home (it’s on the way home )

Let’s see…what else did I want to write in here today?  It’s pretty cool here today – we’re currently sitting at 68 degrees.  We had a strong cold front move through Friday and then the second half of it (or something like it) moved through yesterday afternoon.  However, we’ll be warm again come Tuesday – back into the 80’s.
