Updates all around

I’ve been rather lax in updating, I admit.  I get home from work and updating is the last thing I want to do.  So – update on the snowfall mess – we’ve had a couple messy days here lately and we’re due another messy commute tomorrow morning.  Since I’m on FO these days, I don’t mind giving you a better idea of where I live – I live just north of Madison 🙂  This season, Madison has gotten 60.1" of snow (that’s as of this morning, but it didnt snow today).  Our normal is around 48" for the entire winter (from the first flakes in October through the last flakes in April).  The record is 76.1" and that’s from 1978-79.  Trust me when I say that record’s definitely in jeopardy.  February is easily our snowiest month, not to mention we’re still due at least one more good storm of 8+ inches.

You’re lucky…so far for the year we have 2.6″ which is well below average and I just want one good storm. But that’s not happening soon since today it was 50.
