Warmed up in a hurry

It certainly warmed up in a hurry.  Around 8:45, we were still at -6 degrees F. By 11am we were around 15 degrees F.  Of course, the wind picked up, so while it’s 18 out now, it feels like 6.

*Sigh* It looks like the weather is going to keep us from visiting my grandparents once again this weekend.  My dad was never planning on going this weekend, as he leaves for Germany Saturday morning.  But the plan was for me and my mom to go down on Saturday…however it looks like a solid storm is headed in this direction with another mess of precipitation.  Friday’s out because my mom doesn’t get off work til 3:30 and doesn’t want to then make the 90 minute drive down.  My parents are currently planning on going down a week from tomorrow and while I want to go with them, I don’t know how realistic that is.  Two days later is graduation and four days later finals start *grumbles*.  Saturday of graduation weekend is out because my brothers get in about noon.  We’re headed down for sure though on Sunday the 23rd – it’s going to be the family Christmas party.  That reminds me – I need to find a sub at church for that Sunday.
