More snow on the way

More snow on the way….about an inch by sundown tomorrow (4:45ish) and total of 4 – 5 inches by Wednesday morning.  That will make the drive downtown on Wednesday a pain in the butt….sounds like we could get a mix of precip come Friday into Saturday and then a bigger storm appears to be on the horizon 7-8 days from now.  In other words, a much more active weather pattern than we usually see this time of year.  This time of year, it mostly just gets cold and spits snow from time to time.  At this rate, I’d bet we have a white Christmas this year – we usually don’t because whatever snow we have had melts prior to Christmas.  All it takes to melt a small snowfall is temperatures above 25 and sunny skies, or simply having temps above freezing.
