OMG I WENT ON A NUT!!!
I was in the pharmacy waiting for the pill and there was this man, woman and child of about 8. He went on non-stop bitching at the kid, making the kid call him sir and what did I tell you about listening to your mom, stay still! You are going to learn how to act in public and you will respect me!!.
Enter Me: I say to the guy to give the kid a break, holy smokes take a break you haven’t stop berating the kid for more than 20 seconds at a time. Of course he told me to it is his son and he will talk to him anyway he wants! Me: Come on, listen to yourself, it borders on abuse if you ask me. Then the mom jumps in and I ask her how can she let a man talk to her kid like that. …..Oh boy I went on a roll, I said I bet the guy wasn’t even dad because a dad wouldn’t talk like that, and then told the woman to think about what the hell she is exposing her child to. She said..I am not exposing my child to anything and I said ….yes you are you are exposing him to a mother fucker, an asshole a guy that gets his kicks dominating a child in public!!. He said something about me cussing… my reply went something like hey he is only hearing what others are thinking about you. At the same time the store manager was coming up and told us that we were going to have to leave the store….. I then turned to her and said….go to hell, I have been kicked out out of better places! She turned and walked away. I think the guy behind the pharmacy counter to go on. He paid for his stuff and left. I looked around and people were winking at me, giving me the thumbs up, telling me I did what no one had the guts to say. All the people behind the pharmacy counter told don’t worry about it, I did the right thing and they were all sick of hearing him.
LOLOLOL I went on a nut!! I went crazy. I am not one to make a scene in public. Hell, did I right to say anything? I figure yes, because he was being a dick in public in a big way, over the top. Omg, I just remembered I even told the kid he doesn’t have to take anyone talking to him like that and that is not the way people act and then asked there dad (not the daddy I bet) WHERE IS THE LOVE????? Wild.
When I left the store even the lady at the front smiled and said she heard and good job.
I can’t remember exactly how the whole exchange went down, I don’t think I am giving good examples (i was out of my mind) but it was crazy. That man was crazy.
Weird huh? What a clash of energy.
you did the right thing. *hugs you* i would not have been as brave. (i don’t like confrontatons with strangers.)

HOLY CRAP I’m proud of you. I could never do that. The parents nor the kid will forget what you said. Yay!

haha good for you! More people need to do that! If he’s acting that way in public, I can’t imagine how he berates that poor boy in private!

I’ve been in similar situations before and not had the courage you had to say what was on my mind. I hope that some good comes from it…like maybe the kid feels a little more understood on some level and maybe not so alone anymore? Whatever comes of it, sounds like you acted on your conscience and I can’t see how that could be bad. Kudos!

God sent an angel to help a little boy out. 😉

GOOD FOR YOU! He’ll think a couple of times next time before going on a tear in a public place. You did your civic duty. Notice they didn’t call the police. ;-}

As great as that was what you did, with parents like that child has the poor kid probably got the shit beat out of him when he got home.
