Let’s All Do The Dance Of Joy

Because I HAVE A TEACHING JOB!!!

This morning I went and spoke to the principal of the school I was at last year. He offered me a half-time teaching position. (He wanted to offer me a full-time slot, but there were some higher office politics that interfered.) The position is salaried and has benefits. It also will most likely grow into a full-time position, possibly by the beginning of the year.

I am beyond excited. Full-time would have been better, but I have a guaranteed job and it is at the school I wanted to work at.

I love how just as I am starting to panic about work and bills, something comes my way. This is a GOOD thing.

YAY! YAY! YAY!!!!!! That is great news!!! 😀 Now let’s just hope something comes along for Billy….

ryn: I will ask Lisa. I know Louisville School District is crappy. Oldham County is much better- best in the state. I will send you her email when I hear from her. August second looks good. Want to go to the North End? Is David coming? Double date? La Famiglia is a nice, casual, family atmosphere or would you prefer something like Cantina Italiana, which is more upscale (though not by much! ha) I can make reservations if you let me know what you want and what time. I can’t do before 7:30- that would be the earliest I can do. 🙂

congratulations! That is really good news.

here is LIsa’s response: No ideas. The top high school for math and science though are Manual and Male. The Archdioceses pays shit but he could try for one of those high schools. I don’t know anyone in the system though.
