On Your Mark, Get Set…

Student teaching officially starts tomorrow. The AP Lit class only has seven students. Eek!

I have all the picture requests except for the one Rachel requested of me as soon as I wake up. It’s not that I don’t want to post that picture, it’s just that I keep forgetting to take it. It’s not like the first thought I have when I wake up is “oooh, picture time.” I’ll do it, I just have to remember. Look for a picture posting tomorrow. (Last minute requests still acceptable.)

With regards to resolutions/goals…

I have my own two main personal goals, but I am curious, what would happen if instead of me making my own resolutions, if I asked my faves to make one for me. Would you? I won’t be offended, I just figure that you all know me pretty well, so what would you like to see me focus on in 2007? If you’re reading, leave me a resolution. If you leave one for me, I will stop by your diary and leave one for you. Promise.

Tomorrow I am talking to my podiatrist about getting indigent care status so that I can have the procedures done on my foot. I tried to make a joke about being indignant about being indigent but my family didn’t get it. Honestly, if it means that I can get my foot taken care of, I don’t mind being indigent. More info on that after I talk to the doctor.

I need to buy the Norton Critical Editions of several epics. Virgil, Homer, Dante, Pope. I am both excited and terrified about teaching these epic poems. Off to amazon I go.
