Tomatoes *Edit*

I am having bruschetta for dinner. That’s it, just bruschetta. I went to the store and bought bread and fresh tomatoes. I cut them up and put them to soak in olive oil, garlic and other spices. In an hour, after the mixture is good and cold I will spoon it onto slices of fresh bread and enjoy the goodness that is bruschetta.

I ate eight pieces of bruschetta. That is over 2/3 of a loaf of cuban bread. I feel very full, but it was very tasty.

I also have homework to do today. I have to read some articles and post a response on the class discussion board. This MUST be done today before midnight. I have printed out the articles and have started to read them, but I haven’t been able to focus. I work best at night, so I feel confident that I will be able to get it done after dinner.

I also have to make a collage about what I think makes an effective teacher. My professor said that even if we think we know what collage is, to look it up again. So I did. And one of the lesser known definitions refers to a literary piece that incorporates borrowed and original work. SO I think I will do that instead of a picture collage. I’ll write a bit about what I think a good teacher is and then put it together with some research I can do online of what other people have written about being an effective teacher. I’ll even pull some stuff out of my textbook, because I can be a suck up like that. My only trouble is how long it should be. Ideas?

I love the idea of a literary collage. People have these on the front pages of their diaries all the time if you think about it. You kind of a have a short one, I guess. As far as how long it should be, I would either do 7-10 short quotes or 3-5 longer ones. I think that the short quotes would be nicer and would give you more room for being artistic, but that’s just me.

^ interspersed with your own stuff, of course. You could have a lot of fun with this. Will you post it when you’re done?

No ideas from me but I really like your idea on what you were going to do. *oinks at you* That’s a lotta carbs there lady. But cuban bread, oh how I miss thee from SoFlo. I haven’t had a good cuban sammie in like 6-years now.

RYN: I don’t think it’s broken… it’s just very bruised 🙁 If it still hurts in a few days then I’ll look into it… I think when I popped it it was just out of alignment… this is me grasping at straws, FYI. Re: the house, I just don’t know! We expected this to happen and we wanted something that needed a lot of work. If they went down to $20k I think I would do it. But I’m not feelingit… it’s not the work, it’s my gut feeling starting to creep in now. I’m going to call Adam to talk about it.

Oh you!!! *shakes fist* You got me and you know it and there’s nothing I can say in my own defense. *sulks off* ;Þ

I won’t walk on it until I see the doctor in a couple weeks. Promise. But I will continue to remove this heinous thing so I can sleep. 😉

I tried bruchetta for the first time while I was working at a nice high-priced restraunt. Needless to say, I didn’t stay there very long, but the bruchetta was very good. It can make an exellent meal if you make enough. The crickey
