A New Mew-Yorker

My sister and her family made the trip from New York City to attend the funeral of my ex-husband. My daughters were comforted by this show of unconditional support, and I was pleased when my eldest daughter became distracted and engaged in the wonderment of her city cousin’s awe at just about every single little thing farm related.

Then all grown up cousin Tommy found the kittens. He enticed one to come to him. They immediately forged an extreme liking to one another. He feeding it tidbits of kibble to see if it could eat on it’s own yet … and it seemed that if this little kitty had been able to speak, it might have been saying “New York is where I’d rather be. Farm living’s not the life for me!”

He and my neice carried the little fellow around almost all afternoon.

When the visit ended, he asked if he could take the kitty with him.

Its now five days since, and look at the little fellow now! He’s a real fashionplate New Yorker and growing like a little weed! Tommy teases us … he says he’s planning on teaching little “Sebastian” to Mew with a New York Accent!
