I found out yesterday that I will be teaching three classes next quarter, which means I’ll be working enough hours and making enough money for the teaching to resemble a proper job. I was really excited about this until I realized I actually have to teach the three classes and that it’ll be three times the work I’m doing right now. Though it still shouldn’t be too bad, honestly.

The class average on my first exam this quarter was a 60% and over half the class had failing grades. I am a hardass, I know. I think my class is one of the hardest at the school, but I want my students to learn! Two of the eleven students have dropped the class – my parents get upset when I sing “Another one bites the dust” when I get e-mails about students dropping, because apparently it means I’m cold hearted or something!

Ok, I admit, in reality I want to cry when my students fail and give up, but I like to pretend to have a nonchalant attitude about it.

LOL you sing, “Another one bites the dust?” LOL, seriously?!?!?! HAHA, that just made me love you ten times more.

Sounds kind of rough, but good for you for wanting them to learn!

Have you checked “rate my professor” to see if anyone added you to give you a rating on there? My friend is on there and she thought her students hated her! Turns out they think she is AMAZING. You never know!!

Hi Matt, Good for you! I am glad that you’re a strict instructor! Students, these days, need to learn that teachers aren’t going to give them easy grades in college because they receive them in high school….. RYN: The reason why I was comparing Columbine/Virginia Tech Massacres because of the actual killers. The majority of the killers in these incidents snapped and murdered people. By

no means, massacres and killing three people are definitely the same, but there are similar characteristics concerning the killers/murders. All three incidents involved someone being a student or a professor. In all three cases, all parties suffered some type of psychosis/neurosis. And all three situations are extremely sad….

Glad you’re having fun. : ) ~I’ll be

Nice one on going full time. ryn: what is a “good” car washer?

ry other n:Aye, I’m merely aiming to get out of medically underweight. I have been there before, though I hover round the lower end of the scale. it’s nice to feel stronger, too, though exercise has been abandoned for revision currently…

RYN: It’s the same reason why I hate my handwriting sometimes. I just can’t stand having my “aura” around…the vibes I put into my words. And I don’t have the guts to delete things. So I hide them. I love you, Matt. You’re a better friend than I deserve.

Thanks, you being proud of me is a pretty big deal, I think. : ) And, RYN, yes, I know, he’s quite attached. I don’t know what he thinks is so phenomenal about me (everything) and that’s his point: there hasn’t yet been something, anything, that he foresees as any kind of serious issue. Which is weird, considering I have plenty of issues. But I think he’s got it right, love, that is. ~I’ll be

It’s Kate. Add my new diary.

Are you done with OD? Is that what this is???

Wow, three classes. I hope you enjoy the workload and the full-time job. Though I hope that the percentage of students failing goes down. Good luck!
