NoJoMo

So, for reasons unknown to my sanity, I’ve decided to do “NoJoMo,” which is short for November Journaling Month. It isn’t much of an official thing, as best I can tell it was just started by a fellow diarist on OD, but it seems to have caught on a bit and I figure it’ll give me an excuse write. The basic rules of the game are that you have to write an entry every day, but I’m clarifying the rules for my own personal use:

1. Time is tracked by my own personal time, not Eastern, Pacific, or anything else, so if I update at 3:00 AM and have yet to go to bed, it counts on the previous day, not the next.

2. I don’t have much interest in posting pictures or song lyrics, so either I write a genuine entry every day or I fail completely. Still, I might resort to surveys.

I’m currently realizing this is likely a horrible idea as my diary tends to hover towards pointlessness already and that’s when I’m not forcing myself to write, so things are likely to only get worse. If you expect anything worthwhile, you may as well check back in again in November (though, now that I think of it, it’s probably best that you just give it up altogether).

Anyway. 1 down, 29 to go.

ryn: It’s not really that un-feasible (if that’s even a word/concept…my brain is fried and I still have gobs to write tonight for NaNo) to do both of them…I’m going to be spending all this time at the computer anyway, may as well visit OD while I’m at it. ^_^ Uhhh..apparently I’m not signed in. Oh well. ~Iverin

Oh, sounds interesting. I would do it… but then I would already fail since I don’t feel like updating today. Haha.
