My Annoying College

So, I won’t be at GC&SU next year. This is due to the graduate accounting program being cancelled (the last classes being held this summer), which I was informed of by overhearing a conversation between a professor and a student, in lieu of, you know, someone actually telling me, being that I only planned to attend the program they cancelled. Anyway, the school not telling me isn’t really a big deal since there’s still plenty of time to weigh my options, but it’s a little alarming that I wouldn’t be informed of something that crucial. But if Accountants had good communication skills they wouldn’t be accountants, right?

Still, like I said, it’s really not that big of a deal; I’m almost glad of it to be perfectly honest. A change of scenery will be nice and I’d thought about it fairly extensively before whimping out and deciding to just stay here since it’s more familiar (which I obviously can’t do now). I’m favoring the University of Georgia, though the parental units are skeptical of my survival at a much larger school. All the same, I’m more than likely headed there.

On another note, I’m still missing Heather and now have the added bonus of no communication with her at all for two weeks (short of postcards) after she heads to England on Friday. No, no, I don’t know what I’m going to do with myself either.

But at least there should be more entries.

Yeah, they’re really bad about actually telling us things around here. You’re a senior, right? How is it that you still have “plenty of time” if you’re planning on going to grad school next year? My creative writing professor told us that December is the due date for many graduate programs…don’t know if it’s just for creative writing or not, but I don’t see why it should be.

Read! And write her a journal with candy bar wrappers and grass in it. CLEARLY.

You’ll be schmoopy and full of missing; the sweet sort of missing when you know she’ll be back, and that she’s coming home to you.

aww. 🙁 Hey! Your parents could send you to one of the smaller schools down here, and I could watch after you. …haha. Then, you could do my taxes. Oh yes. OR. You could go to a small college in California. Mm hmm.
