The end of a researching era

After long deliberation, I have come to an important decision in my life. I have decided to end my RFIM research. Well, perhaps, end is too strong of a word. However, I have taken measures to discourage RFIM’s from messaging me, and, when they do, I am prepared to tell them I am uninterested in talking to them, with the ignore button ready if necessary. Of course, this is completely unrelated to you diary readers, my heart fills with joy whenever any of you message me, but I have decided that the RFIM’s have become more of a burden than I’m willing to carry.

My rationale for the decision is simple: I am tired of answering stupid questions. The breaking point arrived sometime last night, when an RFIM chose to ask me, and I do not jest, “do u like to have fun,” a question, I think we can all agree, which deserves no answer. One would assume that if you’re having ‘fun’ that you would inherently like it, but apparently this is not an assumption that RFIM’s make. And, I just can no longer be bothered with their nonsense anymore. So, yes, the end has come.

Of course, this means that, now, I have a nice wide vacant spot in my schedule existing in the place of the long hours of RFIM research I have put in. This time must be spent somehow. Naturally, I am open to suggestions. Anyone who knows of good research topics should certainly feel free to share them.

This is also likely to create a topic void on the diary front, as I’m sure you have noticed that, at least recently, nearly every entry has been RFIM related in some way. I consider this change a good thing. I think that every few months there comes a time when the diary has to broaden its horizons. That time has come again. A new day is upon the diary. Who knows what the future holds.

hi! i got you on random. i don’t know what you’ve been doing before, but how about writing about the american culture. i’m from europe and we love being horrified with the religiously fundamental, unhealthy, ignorant and disgusting american culture. that would be interesting to read about. who knows, i might even come back. -marion-
