The play’s the thing

You can’t help but appreciate the directness of a site like this. For those of you too lazy to click on the link, it’s a site that’s kinda like hot or not, only with a more direct approach for rating purposes. It even has separate categories for girl votes and guy votes, which is pretty cool in itself. Not that I support putting your picture on any of these sites or anything. I have put the balloon picture up though. For research purposes, obviously.

Anyway, I’m stuck hanging around Milledgeville longer than I usually do, because I have to watch a required play production for my theater class a little later tonight. I don’t think I’ve seen an actual play since grammar school, which is sad on some levels, but, yet, I think I could have gotten along just fine without having to see this one all the same. Plus, I had originally planned on renting Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind tonight, and, being that I was looking forward to it, I’m pissed off. Sure, the movie was released theatrically months ago, and has been out on DVD since Tuesday, and, in the meantime, I’ve survived just fine without seeing it, but, the point is, I wanted to see it tonight, and damnitt, now I can’t. The fact that anger is irrational never helps in soothing it.

Also, for those of you who have seen the film, please, don’t leave me a note spoiling the ending or something of that sort, because, really, that would upset me. A little consideration is all that I ask for.

Well, I want to see that too, and if I didn’t have the Incubus concert tomorrow night, I’d say we could all get together and have an Eternal Sunshine slumber party.. ..but we can’t – and for this, you can blame Brandon Boyd… haha =)

I will check this site out! It sounds funny. Later, Brad!

Everyone dies at the end. No, I’m kidding. I actually haven’t seen it yet either. They didn’t have it at the video store tonight so we got Supersize Me! instead. Not too bad a movie, really gives you some insight, no matter how disgusting.

You really need more interesting topics to research.

i want to see it too…. yeah i havent seen a play since um.. like 4th grade i think.. laura

i totally loved that movie. i’m a huge fan of kauffman (being john malcovich, adaptation and now this). he raises deep philosophical questions and his movies break traditions. and jim carrey is only annoying for the first few minutes. and the dream sequences are not at all stupid or boring. this movie is hilarious, like kauffman’s other stuff. w/ love, Andrea
