A Summer Beginning

Note to Open Diary: When your server is constantly logging me out every 5 seconds for “extended absence” or whatever, it MIGHT not be the best time to start up on of those annoying “click one of our adds so we can survive” campaigns. Just a thought.

Anyway, I am officially through with my first semester of college, complete with a 3.76 GPA. However, I do request that from now on that you report any grammar errors inside the diaries in order to help curb my poor English grades, so that we can turn that 3.76 into a 4.0 next semester. It’s going to take a little bit of help from each of you, but together I think we can do it.

I also think I’m going to change my writing style on here a bit. Yeah, I do that sometimes. So, instead of strange pointless quotes starting off the entries, you’re probably just going to be stuck with my drivel all the way through. I realize this will obviously cut down on the intelligent thought ratio of the diary, but then if you wanted intelligent thought you’d obviously be reading something else wouldn’t you, now? Yes, exactly.

Also, I’ve finally made the observation that, since absolutely no one reads this stuff, it’s really pointless to talk about anything other than my daily life, no matter how uneventful that daily life is. I realize that this will make the reading even more difficult for the 5 of you who do read it, but it’s a sacrifice that I’m sure you’re prepared to make. Thanks in advance.

Anyway, now that I have the entire summer sitting in front of me, with no intention of seeking employment or education for the next 3 months, I should have lots of time to write in here, but little to talk about. You know, like always. The more things change, the more my diary entries stay the same.

So, just what do I plan to do this summer, anyway? Well, my loose plans basically involve me sitting at home a lot and making full use of my subscription to Netflix. However, if there were a point in time in which I was actually to leave the house and go and do something interesting, you guys will be the first to know. However, until then, I think I’ll end this entry and watch 21 Grams again before I ship it back tomorrow. But, I’ll keep in contact, honest.

Later.

RYN: Part of the reason mine generated more notes was because I posted it in 3 or 4 diary cicles, so it really got around, and read quite a bit.

Why didn’t you start college in the fall?

Ah, in response to the above noter, the sentence should have said I was through with my first YEAR of college. I’m an idiot.
