A Whole Bunch of Not Much At All

I’ve been busy on my home PC the last couple of evenings.  It’s strange, I’ll go for a couple of weeks without seeming to touch the PC at home and then I’m on it every evening for a couple of hours.

My data drive has been getting filled up lately and I’ve been meaning to move a bunch of music and video to either blueray disks or one of the hard drives I have lying around.  When I considered how much I had to offload, I figured I’d need a bigger "hanging around" drive, so I got a bigger data drive for my PC and as soon as I’m sure I’ve copied everything off the old drive I’ll use the old drive just to hold the backup stuff.  Microcenter had a nice deal on a 2TB drive, so I also have a bit more space to fill.

I also took advantage of the black friday sale at Staples to get a copy of Microsoft Office 2010.  This version can be installed on up to three PCs and when the next version of Office comes out I’ll get the upgrade for free.  That’s like getting six copies of Office for the low, low, black friday price.  Of course, I had to unload Office 2007 and clean off what didn’t unload correctly before I installed 2010.

All of this started when I updated Nero and Audials.  Of course, those too had to be uninstalled before the new versions were installed.  It seems like the uninstalls take longer the the full installs take, at least they do if you want to get everything cleaned up after the uninstall supposedly finishes.

The Mrs. and I are supposed to go to Hobby Lobby on Saturday.  I also want to get my car washed and clean out the gutters.  If Hobby Lobby takes too long I might have to delay the car and gutters until Sunday.  Wow, the excitement continues to build.

That’s about all I’ve got.

Ender is out.
