So did what I had to do and I’ve been having a nice pleasant evening. There are still some things that need to be done, but I’m taking the day off. I did go and run those errands right after I wrote my last entry. I came home and spent some time on the computer doing some work. Since then I watched a couple of classic movies. I watched The Blob (the original) and now I’m watching Gypsy. I love watching old classics and I’m grateful I have the time today. I taped them and had them on my dvr for some time now in hopes of having some time. After Gypsy I plan to watch some Golden Girl re-runs…lol…I’m so weird I know, but the shows make me happy. It especially calms me on Sundays because I get anxiety for the up-coming work week.
The last couple of weeks I’ve been taking an off-site meeting (more of an event) during the week. I thought it would make the work week go by fast, but the past two weeks have seemed to drag. Two weeks ago I went for a little road trip to Springfield for an unemployment claim. This past week we had a community Day of Caring in the town that I work. The person that is charge of this was on vacation so I went in her place. I went to the senior center and help painted some things, specifically the outside railings and stairs. Others also painted the gazebo and did other outside chores like weeding, planting and spreading mulch.
Last night I went out with my cousin, his wife and the kids to dinner for my birthday. It was a nice restaurant and nice company. My godson was especially cute…his sister too. They are such good kids and I love them so much. My godson love the song Baby I Like It by Enrique. We kept singing the whole night. They gave me a Visa gift card too. For my birthday I got that Visa gift card, my other cousin gave me a Visa ecard, and Sy’s mom sent my a Target gift card.
I just bought a plane ticket for Miami and San Fransisco!!!! I can’t wait!!! I’m so excited!! I will be in Miami starting on a Thursday night and leaving Sunday afternoon. My mum is already down there and she will be coming home with me. I got her a one way and just emailed it to our family. The following week I’m leaving for SanFran on Wednesday night and leaving early Monday morning. I am beyond excited for both trips. I already got the okay from my supervisor to get the time off, but tomorrow I have to remember to send my formal request with the dates.
This past week I’ve felt better about the whole job situation. I don’t feel 100%, but it’s better. I don’t feel like walking out anymore. I’m still having trouble focusing and wanting to do a good job. That is so out of my norm so I was and still am disturbed by it. I’ve also been feeling really gloomy. I’m thinking of my dad alot and have started crying here and there. Anyway, it’s gotten a little bit better after this past week so I hope it keeps getting better. I think the two suicides have affected me…just thinking about death a lot…and my dad. Mix that with a hectic job, a boyfriend that lives in a different state, a mom (my sidekick) that’s been in Florida for over a month, and a birthday that was celebrated all by my lonesome…it could take a toll on a girl!! I know, my pitty party is over I swear!
Aww, it’s the end of Gypsy and I always get sad during the ending Everything’s Coming Up Roses…right after their little argument. I loved seeing it on Broadway a couple years ago. Alright, it’s time to feed Ellianna and for me to watch some Golden Girls. Hope everyone had a wonderful Sunday.
P.S. I have a dream…I want to win the lottery so I never have to work again…I guess I should start playing the Lotto…
What fun trips you have planned! Ashley

The problem is that the name Hogan can be spelled “Hogan,” or “Haugen”. The 4 I found via White Pages were all way north of me. And… white pages or a general google search doesn’t give me cell phone data. And…. the number of hits on “Marcella Hogan” on Google was 4.16 Million. If she’s not dead yet, she would be by the time I went through all those. And I would be as well.
