NoMoJo 12…OR…11-12-13

Early today to make up for late yesterday.

I should be getting ready to go to school…I should be leaving in less than an hour.
Kurt gave me an out…How dare he! He sent us all an e-mail saying today is an optional day.
*looks outside* But he has cookies (as his phone went off in class last week)…Mum has the only 4×4 in Gaylord currently.
I really have no desire to go…*pokes @ paper* If I promise to put some serious effort into it, it should be okay not to go today, right?

We got the electric fixed Saturday morning…Critters came here for Harley’s birthday from 4-8…Sonja was here for at least an hour, I’m thinking closer to two, before she realized we had proper electric again. This was even after everyone being in the kitche with Harley’s cake, with the lights on, me having the lights on while making dinner, so on and do forth.
They came home at 6 on Sunday…Still nothing from Harley, even when Mum had her light on in her room…Last night, a little bit after 10, when he was suppose to be in bed already, but was taking his sweet time getting there, he comes out. "No one told me!" He finally realized the lights were working everywhere again (well, aside from the hall light, but that’s another story all together). I do so love my unobservant Critters.

Sitting in the living room last night, my phone rings, it’s Sonja’s ringtone.
I answer the phone…She starts with telling me not to be mad, but she would understand if I was…She’s calling from my bathroom, where she couldn’t get the door shut, them slammed it shut, broke the edging from the doorframe, and the door was now attempting to be a push in, rather than out, door. AND, she couldn’t push the door back out, as there were a half a dozen little nails (that had been holding the frame) stuck out in such a way that they would not allow the door to return to its proper postion.
I had to get a hammer and hammer them in so I could get the door open.
All and all…It was actually quite commical.

If I was doing NaNoWriMo I’d be 16,821 words behind. *laughs*
It actually kind of amuses me. Maybe next year I can do it for real. If not…Maybe the year after.

Someone forgot to inform the weather that winter doesn’t start until December…It looks like December outside. Blah. Feels like it too. Cold, cold, cold, and more cold.
Sonja, is still wearing her sandles. Not because she doesn’t have anything else to wearm, but because those are what she wants to wear. (On the days she’s at her fathers, she changes from her shoes to her sandles here, and takes her shoes with her. She is so odd.) Harley is wearing last years boots, even though they are on the worn out side. Idiot said he’d buy him (& Sonja) boots…I’m not holding my breath. I’ll have to get Harley a pair soon, I’m sure. For the moment, the old ones are working.

Maybe since winter came early it’ll leave early as well…One could hope.
