NoJoMo 13

Tired…But gonna do this real quick.

My keys seem to be feeling better now. Hopefully they stay that way. I really don’t know what there problem was.

Tutoring yesterday afternoon was awesome…& today was pretty good too. *smiles*
I worked with one girl yesterday afternoon…I even managed to tie in the rhyming we did in the morning to part of what we were working on in the afternoon.
It was great to see that the connection actually helped. I’m going to be working with her most afternoons I believe.
I worked with two today on math. And despite math not being top on my list of things to do…I liked that I was at least trying to be helpful. I hope I was helpful.
It did break my heart to see a fourth grader have to use a ‘cheat sheet’ for multiplication, for nearly every combination…Even 9s! *sigh*
The other one was working on addition, so yeah, that was really easy to deal with.

I need to look up printable letters…I want to bring them to work with the one student. They book we are working with has a section to use them, I just don’t have any to work with currently.
So yeah…Printable letters would be good. *smiles*

Harley had a counseling appointment, I think it went good. I took in some papers/lists that I had worked on with Harley Friday. She said those were the exact things I should be working on with him, and she was glad to see that we were on the same page. That felt good, to know what I’m trying to do is what I’m suppose to be trying to do.

Talked to Mrs. Gooding yesterday, and she said she was going to talk to the one guy that heads up the assessments through the school, and see about getting Harley reassessed again. Hopefully that will get in the works, and be of some help.

Harley’s doctor’s appointment went good too…He’s a good height/weight ratio. & Dr. Tinney predicts that he’ll grow to be 5’10".

Hmmm…Let’s see…I totally just blanked…Oh yeah…

Despite knowing the chances of getting 50,000 by the end of November, I’m still writing.
I finished off chapter one…Started chapter two…& I have a bit of a chapter for later. Still have NO WAY near as many words as I would need for NaNoWriMo…But it’s all good.
