*runs around squeeing*
I got my 3rd application paper back for English…I got 30 out of 30 points!
*does a happy dance*
I was so shocked! I was fairly certain it was utter rubbish (then again, I think that of most of my papers)…Instead, it was so well written that he forgave my 2 coma splices & couple other small grammatical errors. O.o

This is what my professor wrote about my paper:

“Jenn, I was almost giddy w/delight after reading your essay a first time. I’ve been through it now a second time, & I’m giddy all over again. This is unquestionably the strongest piece of writing you’ve produced for me yet– & I’d say by a healthy margin. Yes, there are some surface-level errors, but the organization/structure & quality of critical thinking, in particular, are stupendous. Impressive.

What makes it all the better is that you tackled one of the toughest essays we’ll read all semester. Not only did you nail precisely what Badmington is saying (the second paragraph is remarkable – precise, articulate), you exemplified its implications in “Bergerson” w/exacting detail & [a word I couldn’t quite make out], insightful discussion. The imaginative opening (creativity = Jenn’s specialty ) only enhances what is otherwise & marvelous essay further, if that’s possible. This is the quality of work I’ve known all along that you can produce. You have an outstanding mind, Jenn. Trust it.”

& Just to put that into more of a sensible light…Here is my paper: (Or would be, but for some bloody reason OD won’t post it…So I’ll have to try and post it later.)
