A weekly thing?

I’m feeling a bit (a lot) better about when it comes my time to present my story in Storytelling. *shakes head* Gods…I’m still feeling sorry for poor Jim.
Last week we had 4 presentations…& they all did such wonderful jobs, it was quite daunting really. Last night there were 5 presentations last night. The first four went as well as last week’s 4 did. The last guy, Jim, got up to do his…When through a bit of a shaky opening. His first storylines were delivered with his back to the class facing the whiteboard…He turned to delve into the rest of the story…And went completely blank. He never did manage to recover his story to tell it. He tried quite a few times to start…The professor went through a couple things to relax him, got him to sort of manage something…But it was…Yeah…It was bad.
I need to start actually practicing on mine…I need to locate props I want…I can’t find my skeleton keys! I know I have 2 or 3…I think 3…& I can only find 1 of them! & that is one of the few props I can think of for Bluebeard…& I’m figuring I need props to keep me thinking straight and on schedule.

I have a stack of handouts to read & then write a 2 page paper for Monday. Blah. But at least it’s only 2 pages…2 pages is not too bad.

I also have a 5 page paper, but it’s not due until the 17th…I might know what I’m writing about, so I’m not freaking too badly.

First math test was yesterday…2 of the questions hurt my brain…But I feel rather confident about the rest of them. Our group theme paper got 9.5/10 points…So that’s all good. It was a rather easy theme paper for a change.

Aside from math…My classes are all blending together.
& as he has shown up in both my English classes in one way or another, and my outside book for Storytelling…I’ve come to the conclusion Kafka is stalking me. *laughs* [Which, as I might be using his story for my 5 page paper…Guess I’ll forgive him…Just this once anyway.]

Speaking of it…I finished my outside reading book for Storytelling. [Now just need to get one picked out of sure for World Lit & get it done…Tho I’m still wondering if I could just sneak Dracula in there, as I have to read it anyway.]
I finished it right before going to class last night, and when I got to class he had the discussion groups for the books up on the board…The group I’m is going to be the last one to hold our discussion…So yay! I’ve got it done, and don’t have to worry about it for a while. *does happy dance*

Okay…I got to get going…Have to go to T.C. early…Have to pick up scripts for Sonja…Hopefully get PCV pipe for my xylophone (As she said it was an alternative, and even tho one of our classmates found the steel pipe for $10 instead of $20…I’d rather pay less than $5 for it if at all possible…& the prices I seen online for the PCV looked like they were soooo much better.).

Storytelling is a course? Meaning, I’m asking if it’s not a “speech” class, it’s literally focused on story telling ? That’s really interesting ~Anna

Poor guy 🙁 Can I send a hug to him. You don’t have to really hug him, just send the vibes.

Poor guy. I can barely make it through such things without shaking all over. Yay for cheaper items! *hugs*

PCV or steel pipe? For a Xylophone? huh? I’m lost. Poor Jim is right. Some people just cannot do presentation work.
