Homework, School, the last week or so…
Hate math…The only class I’ve had to go back to thus far…I’m already annoyed by it. *kicks it*
Math is going to be separated into 4 sections.
1.) Geometry Part 1
2.) Statistics
3.) Probability
4.) Geometry Part 2
She says Probability will most likely be the hardest part.
She’s changed a few things around…Like, not having to write a story out to go with the material for our Group Themes…I think everyone was quite thankful for that. [Those things were utterly ridiculous!]
A couple of the portfolios we are going to have to read 3 books instead of 2…But the books aren’t usually that difficult to deal with…Just the getting in there to get it done is a bit troublesome (and will be more so as I’ve got 2 late night classes this semester instead of just the 1).
There is still also the matter of the xylophone. Blah. We also have to write a paper to go with it, in which we present a scientific explanation for how the ear and sound waves work, at a 3rd grade level.
Monday, it’s back to math, &…The start of English part 2 (the continuation of last semesters’ class). I’ve still got over 200 pages to read on Dracula…Gonna attempt to read some more today. After getting past Jonathan Harker’s journal entries, it’s been easier to read. Poor Wampa, he doesn’t get to have story time anymore. *laughs*
Tuesday…The other English class…World Lit via NMC…I don’t have a clue what I’m getting into. Had the teacher for a couple philosophy classes a couple years ago…He didn’t require any major papers…Maybe I can expect and English class without papers (*laughs* Yeah, right…I know, not likely…But one could hope).
Wednesday…Math again…& Storytelling…Which I’m totally clueless about, aside from not having to have a book.
The English professor from Monday is also the professor from Storytelling…He says he won’t assign papers due in classes that he has at the same time. So if I’m going to have any papers for Storytelling, I won’t have one for English.
Thursday looks like Tuesday. & Friday is just Math (like last Friday).
================================================
*sigh* Wasil is gone once more.
His scent is on my sheet, and the one pillow…It makes my heart ache. His absence makes my heart ache.
Saturday (7th)The trip to his parent’s wasn’t too bad. Dinner was good.
His mother gave me a necklace & earring set, they are butterflies.
She also gave me a jewelry box, it is quite pretty. I’ve already found a place in my room to set it, despite the over populace of stuff I have and little room.
There was some stressful moments…As would be expected with any two people who have to get use to being in the same space. But we managed to work through them. A lot of it is just different ways of looking at things, and opinions and thoughts & what not.
I really can’t remember much about Monday & Tuesday…We just hung out at the house.
Wednesday he ran me over with a car. 😛
He brought up his RC car and a smaller one that belongs to his one friend in Missouri. He was having me record him driving his around. The road was icy and he miscalculated stopping time…The car turned sideways and slide, and knocked me down.
He made sure I was okay. My knee hurt a bit, as I landed on it, but nothing serious.
Wednesday night Mum watched the Critters so we could have a night out. We went to TC to the movies…Watched The Darkest Hour…It was the first 3D movie I’ve ever seen…& despite Wasil’s claims that I’d never want to want a regular movie again…I’d be more than happy to watch my movies in 2D. It was actually kind of disorienting and obnoxious. *shrugs*
We also went out to eat, at Cracker Barrel. Food was good. We wandered the store afterwards. Wasil kept asking me if I wanted anything…There were impulse things I would of liked at that moment…But I wasn’t going to have him buy anything like that for me. I did end up getting a box of Rock Candy Crystals, and 2 packs of old fashioned gum (BlackJack & Cloves).
Thursday was our last full day together.
Friday the Critters had a snow day, so I got to sleep in a little bit…Not nearly long enough…But I had to get ready for school & Wasil had to get ready to go.
He left sometime around 9. I hated seeing him go…Especially when I don’t know when for sure I’ll actually get to see him again…Physically. June? July?
He won’t be back to St. Louis until tonight, most likely late…I doubt he’ll be online, he’ll need his sleep. So, maybe Sunday, back to life as usual.
Mum came home early from work to watch the Critters so I could go to school without worry. The idiot came and got them. I was worried I wouldn’t get home in time to see them…But apparently they both put up quite a fight about not wanting to go.
So yeah…All alone again…As Mum left last night as well.
Got as much of my homework done as I can…
Need to read, like I said…
Guess that is it for the moment…
*hugs you lots* ldrs can really suck.

You know, I could actually do probability in school. *lol* Geometry was hard for me. I still can’t believe you ate at a Cracker Barrel, and I haven’t, even though they’re a staple in the South. *laughs* *pokes July* I hope you is around when we come up there. *HUGS*

LDRs are harder than “normal” relationships, but well worth the wait and effort, so long as both of you are equally efforting! 3-D movies suck. I wish they weren’t doing so many. I hated them when I was little (like 3-6 years old) and even though I haven’t seen any of the newer ones, I’m 95% sure that I will not like them now either. Your little tidbit saying that you think they are obnoxious and disorienting reminds me of exactly the things I hated about them when I was little. Why do you need to do a 3rd grade level paper for school? Are you going through to be a teacher? Storytelling sounds like an interesting class, and it sounds like you have it down quite well (with your other blog & all)… so that might not be too much of a challenge! Yay for snow days! I hope you had fun with your kids? How old is your girl Sonja again? If she’s at a certain age, and she no longer WANTS to go see her dad anymore, I don’t think you have to force her… Same with Harley… Of course him they may make see a psychiatrist or something (that’s what my husband’s dad did to him when he said, at the age of 7, that he no longer wanted to see his dad because of the disappointment).

Probability isn’t as hard as the teacher would like you to believe. I found statistics to be harder than probability. Of course it all depends on how far she plans to go with probability – I mean there’s probabilities for probabilities, etc and your equations can get ridiculous, but with Statistics, our professor said the first day of class: “There are Lies, Damn Lies, and Statistics.” – Basically saying that there are ways to make statistics lie for you if you don’t do them properly. He showed us several different examples and explained how each was wrong; then later gave a “quiz” or test giving us more examples (questions), their findings, and we had to point out how they were wrong and why. I mean there’s the simple stuff like mean, median and mode, but then gets VERY COMPLEX VERY QUICKLY after that! I wish you all the best of luck because Statistics and Probability *are* two of the more harder MATH subjects (feel free to contact me if you need help!). I hated Geometry though… LOL; I almost “failed” my geometry portion of my Grade 12 “Algebra & Geometry” class!

I found probability rather easy when I was in school but it’s been ages since I’ve done it. :/ Good luck!!! 🙂 Aww I missed that Wasil was in this week! I’m glad you got to spend some time with him though. 🙂 Hopefully you’ll see him really soon. *hugs*
