On this & that…

Okay, not to make light of the riots that are happening in London (and is apparently spreading to other parts of England) but…Seen this entry on the front page of OD, then read it to Sonja (Whom I’ve been blaming for all kinds of things today…The ambulance we seen going into where we were just leaving…The fire truck that drove past us…& yeah, I’d already blamed the riots on her too)…

With total disregard to human life they are burning buildings with people’s flats in the upper stories.

Anyone who was not blind could see that something evil, cancerous, was in this country. Encouraged by poisonous rap ‘music’ the hooded youth are let loose. Lets face it, what kind of civilized society allows its children to opt out of normal codes of behaviour and wear hoods all the livelong day? This monstrous outbreak of barbarism should not be a surprise…and its only just begun.

I then again blamed Sonja, saying that she sent rap music and hoodies to London. And she responded without missing a beat that: Well they needed to know who the real Slim Shady was.

Honestly…We lost it after that, as well as Harley who was listening on the other side of the room.

& then I decided that it’s all the fault of the Death Eaters (being hooded and all)…Though I’m not exactly sure when the Death Eaters started listening to rap music…

But in seriousness…It really sucks that things have pretty much (guess beyond pretty much at this point) become chaos. This is what happens with mob mentality. Individuals on their own can be intelligent and thoughtful…Get a group of people together, let something happen, and all signs of intelligence, common sense, and reason jump right out the widow.
I hope something happens soon and things get calmed down…I can’t imagine how horrible it has to be there…It was bad enough what I seen on the tv. [& this is why I usually avoid the news…I know the outside world sucks & is falling apart, I don’t want to have to witness it as well.]

Harley’s first day of College for Kid’s was today, he had fun.

& for those wondering…Yes, Sonja had fun at camp (& is full of stories).

My allergies are hating me, big time! I felt like clawing my eyes out last night.
I’m not far behind feeling like that tonight…But hopefully I can stave it off. Took some meds…Stronger ones than what I’ve had.

Picked up my last book for this semester today. *rolls eyes* If you can really cal it a book…It’s thick, but it’s all loose leaf, three hole punched pages & a binder…& they weren’t even nice enough to put it in the binder for us, we had to do it our self. Also, it being in the state of it being it…It also means no resell value at the end of the semester…Joy…This to the tune of $96.17. Blah.

I’ve got the pattern I need to modify for Sonja’s costume for the convention.
I’m still unsure of what I’m doing with Harley…What he’s being and what not.
I need material, lots and lots of material. [Also need my bloody hair fixed…It’s a bit of a faded out, roots growing in mess…& yet, I got two compliments on it today. O.o *shrugs*]

I swear…If it wasn’t for the fact I’m waiting for Wasil…I think I’d just go to bed. Tho I’m not quite as tired as I’ve been…But I know being away from the kittens helps my allergies.
