The last couple days…

Okay…Current plan…Update here, then get off the computer for a while and attempt to do something that resembles homework, instead of wasting all my time wandering around Facebook.

Wednesday…Phone rings @ quarter to six in the morning. O.o I get up to answer it, pretty much guessing what it was anyway. It was the Critter’s school calling to say school was cancelled. Yay! Go back to bed, shut alarm off, go back to sleep.

In an amazing feat of me actually having my cell phone on while sleeping (does not happen often)…Blood playing wakes me up…Text message from Mum…NMC was closed for the day as well. Yay! No bloody night class! [Which I found out yesterday was due to a miscommunication, and that under normal circumstances the college would of been put on a couple hour delay, not closed, but they have a new guy in charge of coordinating such things…Someone should send him flowers for his mess up. *laughs*]
But it’s a good thing, as Mum had made plans to be non-existent, so she wouldn’t of been there to watch the Critters when I went to class. & despite it being Idiot’s week-end, and I wouldn’t of had them under normal circumstances…I had the Critters until 8 PM! *huggles Critters* They so did not want to go when he came to pick them up (nothing new there).

Thursday I had to be at the college earlier than usual…I had a meeting with my Linguistics professor. The first paper, that I thought I did so great on…I need to rewrite parts of it. *sigh* So yeah…Really need to get to that.
Luckily I don’t have reading, so no reading responses, for Linguistics for the next couple weeks. [Hopefully this means I can get reading for the other classes done…Yeah…Right…] [We have our first assessment (test) next Thursday.]

Chapter test in French…I think I did so-so on the written part…I got 4 out of 5 questions on the oral part…The one question I just couldn’t wrap my head around.

Other school stuff…Um…Yeah…

I need to do something with American Lit. Not sure what we are going to be doing since we missed class Wednesday. *shrugs* I guess I just keep reading the crap and go with it. I need to read ahead and get some info for my first paper that is due on the 16th.  Then I need to figure out what other two I’m going to write on.

Mythology…Gods…I would love to stuff the teacher in a trunk. Her schedule is insane! There is nothing that resembles breathing room! & seriously, she needs to do something different with how her forum is set up. There is just too much to comprehend when the full class is posting as one group.  At least with the other online classes I’ve had experiences with, they separate the classes into smaller groups, so there isn’t as much to try and read and try and comprehend to respond to. I don’t have the time and energy to read through post and responses by 20+ people (not really sure how big the class is, but too big for mass postings).
Our first essay exam is coming up (and the way she does that is bull too). Sunday @ noon she will be posting the question. We have 24 hours to write and post our response. Seriously? What about people who have classes on Monday? [Luckily, I don’t, but really?]

The posting by noon schedule runs through ALL of the class, so it includes forums too. That part is what is getting me. We have to have 3 posts within the week…She puts a deadline on when we have to have the first one! The first three of which are on Thursdays…Which means I have to have mine done by the Wednesday before hand, as I have class Thursdays…Seriously, the noon deadline blows…Midnight deadlines make much more sense, but yeah…Sense and this woman have no place in the same sentence from what I can tell.
When evaluation time comes along (if she even does one…Somehow I doubt she will, as I see no place for it [@ least the last teacher had the good sense to include an evauluation, and she didn’t need it anywhere nearly as much], she probably doesn’t want to hear what anyone has to say about her…& for once, I would actually have A LOT to say about the class).

Talking to Wasil last night, he asked me if it was March. *small smile*
Had to tell him no, that it was only the beginning of February…To which he replied that at least it’s a short month.
Gods…I so can’t wait till March.
I am not cherishing the idea of flying again…The whole thought still creeps me out. I’m not sure it’s so much the flying itself…It’s the whole airport experience. I don’t like people, and seriously O’Hare is FULL of people…& the St. Louis airport if full of people…Traverse is nice and small…I’m thinking taking off from small would be better than taking off from big…Don’t know, we shall see.
I’m also nervous about missing connections (like I almost did last time)…& getting to St. Louis and finding Wasil.

But being there will be wonderful! Heck, if I got there and spent a week holed up in his apartment I’d be happy…Just to be with him. *smiles*
Tho, as far as I know, we are suppose to be going to Goth night at the one club.

Okay…I think it’s time to find food…I picked up the stuff to make myself breakfast this morning, and here it is almost 3…& breakfast is sounding pretty good. (Granted, I only got up at 11…So it’s not like I’ve been up that long.)
