I think I did pretty good…

…on my French quiz. I know I got one wrong…What’s really bad is it’s probably the only phrase Sonja knows in French! *laughs* Oh well…I might have got a second one wrong as well…But I’m fairly confident with the rest of what was on the quiz. Which makes me feel a tiny bit better…What doesn’t is knowing that there is another quiz Thursday (jeudi)! & then a chapter test next Tuesday (mardi)! *falls over* 

I got almost all the books I need for the first module for Children’s Lit.
Sonja was looking at a list I had written down of ones to look for, and she’s like "We’ve got that!" She found a couple in anthologies of stories we have, but they still retain the same pictures of the individual books, so they will happily for the assignment. I did order one, as I think it’s one I’d like anyway…Raven: A Trickster Tale from the Pacific Northwest. [Depending, I might get the rest of the collection…They could be nice to have in a classroom (which is where I’m suppose to end up eventually), they are based on ‘myths’ from different cultures.]

Only book I have yet to locate is one without words! O.o I thought I had found one today, but then discovered it had words. Shame on it.

Wasil asked me when my winter break is last night. He had intentions of taking me home with him again…It’s just not feasible this time…It breaks my heart to have to tell him no, I can’t. It’s my year to have the Critters over Christmas break…I have to be here for them…& I have to be here for Christmas day, as it’s my holiday with them, and the Idiot gets them Christmas Eve…Wasil would have me gone from the 20th-???
I told him I’m trying to get the money for plane tickets for Spring Break…I hope I still get to see him in December…Tho I know it’ll have to be a short visit…*sigh* I hate distance…

I need to read part of Cantabury (sp) Tales for tomorrow…I’m going to read that during break…I already read one poem for tomorrow…Should of probably did some of the reading over the long week-end, but I kind of lost knowledge of needing to do homework, aside from French & Children’s Lit. [I need to do more on Children’s Lit…The module is due to be turned in in two weeks I think…I have it written down.]

Next week we start the forum part for Children’s Lit. Blah…Not looking forward to that part…I hate discussing books like that.

Well, I have to convince Harley it’s time to go to sleep…Not an easy task.
