First day-ness…

My Critters were home about 10:30 PM last night…Gee only 4 1/2 hours late. *rolls eyes* 
I’ve called Friend of the Court to see what to do…I’m sure I have to write a letter to them about it.

I survived my first day back to school…Despite it being 90+ degrees & I was wearing long sleeves! [Though long sleeves were needed while in class…They keep it cold in there.]
Stopped at the credit union during break & the teller there told me that I was ‘Cute as a Button’.

I had Macroeconomics and British Lit. today.
Macroeconomics has one ‘homework’ assignment…A research paper that requires 3 articles…O.o It’s got to be 6 pages (double spaced…So 3 really)…We’ll get more details on it later.
We’ll have 3 ‘exams’ & 3 quizzes…The worst quiz grade will be dropped. The only things that are going to be on the tests are the things we cover/talk about in class…So I’m going to go with the thought that I really don’t need the book, as long as I manage to take good notes.
British Lit…Found out today the book store messed up…We weren’t suppose to get Frankenstein, we were suppose to get a book called Persuasion…So I have to see if the book store will play nice and take Frankenstein back & see if they have Persuasion not stuck to the Brit. Lit. text book.
I’ll have a Mid-term & a Final in Brit. Lit. Part of them are take home. *shrugs* Not sure what else we are doing in the lines of writing…Do know there is a Semester Project, which we may have the choice of being creative…Which means I need to get my writing brain engaged, as writing something ‘creative’ would be easier for me than writing a paper. We are going to be doing lots of poetry and some prose in our readings…He said something about it being possible to write a long (I’m sure it would have to be mega long) poem for the final project.
Ug…Have to read parts of Beowulf for Wednesday…Yeah, I’ll get to that…O.o

Took the Critters to the Ice Cream Social at the school…Tried to visit Ken out to Travis’s house, but apparently he went home again. *shrugs* Tho I don’t think the Critters cared too much in the long run…Sonja got to play with two big dogs, and Harley got to go for a ride on a quadrunner wtih Travis.
Then we ended up at the lake for about 2 hours…I think most of that they played in the clay. The water is so shallow at that part that Poochie is almost able to walk across it, and she’s not a tall dog.

I should do something that resembles homework…Need to figure out exactly what I’m suppose to be doing for Children’s Lit.

Ug…& Apparently Sonja has lost her cell phone again. *sigh* *shakes head* We just got her this one & it was a pain in the arse to get the time transferred!
