Commencement in Commemoration

Let’s see…Another one of those ‘Where do I start’ things & hope I remember all of what I want to remember to write about.

Went to school early today so I could talk to an advisor so I could get things sorted out before it’s time to register for classes (which is the 14th).
Had to figure out when it comes time to transfer ‘where’ I’m transferring and for ‘what’.  There was 4 choices, of sorts.
1.) CMU (Central Michigan University) Bachelors of Science, which would require evilness like Human Biology. O.o *runs screaming* Also evilnesses such as Chemistry, Geology, Astronomy, etc. etc.
2 & 3.) GVSU (Grand Valley State University) Bachelors of Science, with a concentration on either Social Studies/History or Science…History is not my thing either…I is not my Sissy. *laughs*
4.) GVSU Bachelors of Arts…Whose focus would be more on English, so when all is said and done I’d be able to teach general studies for K-8th & English for…I’m not sure what really…But it would be the focus beyond general studies. Thing with the BA…You are required to have 3 semesters of a modern language. O.o

Yeah…So I will be taking French next semester, as I’m going to be heading towards getting my BA in Education (Language Arts) @ GVSU. So yeah…Wish me MUCH luck…I’ll bloody well need it.

Next semester is looking something like this (& includes trying another online class…But as my 4th class & not as a 5th class…So hopefully it will work)…
ECO 202 Principles of Microeconomics  Mon&Wed 9:40-11:10
ENG 261 British Literature Mon&Wed 1:00-2:30
MLF 101 Modern Language French Tues&Thurs 1:00-3:00
ENG 210 Children’s Literature (Online) [I’m hoping I can manage this one.]

The second major thing…I’ve decided to walk in the Commencement Ceremony. I should have enough credits for my Associates of General Studies…I won’t have enough credits (or the right ones) for my Associates of Arts & Sciences which it showed that I would have somewhere along the lines…Which mean I wouldn’t be able to walk for that one (which is apparently the one they have me scheduled to walk for)…As they sent me the papers for it though, and I only need one specific class for credit, they said they would still let me walk. [This was all figured out while I was at the advisor’s office, as she had to call the woman in charge of things there because of the discrepancy  in my credit stuffs.] It seems to be one of those things of ‘There is a reason’ as to why it happened that the ‘error’ occurred that would allow me to walk…Like I mentioned in my last entry, Dominic would of graduated this year…He should be walking in Alba’s graduation. Since he’s not here, thus can’t walk…I will be walking for him. I will probably have a breakdown at some point…But I will do my best, because I will be doing it for him. I don’t care about the walking (I wouldn’t of walked in my high school graduation if my Mum hadn’t insisted).

Oceanography had a fieldtrip today…We went to the Maritime Academy/Culinary Arts campus to play at the lake. We were measuring wave stuffs…Which when we got there we didn’t think we were going to be able to do…There were NO waves! *laughs* But we went through what we could do of the lab that didn’t require waves…By the time we were done with the notes for that, and doing that, the wind had changed direction and there were waves…Sort of. Little ones anyway that kind of worked for what we needed. The oranges being tossed in the lake didn’t cooperate as well as they were suppose to…But it’s okay, they were rescued and came home with me. *laughs* So yeah, I’ve got four HUGE oranges that took a swim in West Bay this afternoon. Reese had tagged along (per usual) but was more or less ‘IN’ class with me today…She’s the one that actually fished the oranges out of the bay…But she also operated the stop watch at one point, & held the one end of the tape measure while I held the other…So we put her to work.

I have homework I need to do for HG&D…I have evidence I need to make & come up with another advocacy thing…Which I think I might know what I’m doing…Another letter writing thing…Apparently they are trying to make it so you can only teach for 30 years, then you have to retire…Yeah…Not something that someone who is going to school for teaching wants to really hear. So yeah…I have to search through Facebook & see where Mr. Bricker (my former middle school teacher) had written about it. Need to finish my journal thingy & find the two websites too…& attempt to find the websites I used for my observation thing, as I needed them & lost them…Blah…Troubleness…But I think my grade was still fairly good, even without that part. [Still need to do my second observation thing…I’m not sure when it’s due…*headdesk* Ahhhhh!]

Also need to find another article, one that focuses on biologics, for Oceanography, to due a critique/review on.

I think I have a test in Algebra tomorrow…*shrugs* I’ll do my best & we’ll see what comes of it.

I dropped off the stuff I’ve made out of clay today…Didn’t talk to the teacher though…Or Melissa, as apparently she has a class that overlaps that one, and doesn’t actually get there till 4:30…So I have to set up with the Elf for me to stay that much longer so I can talk to her.

I think this is about it for the moment…*looks at the time* It’s already past 10 (here)…I’m hoping to get to talk to Wasil tonight…I went to be around 11 last night as my head was hurting & I was of the tireds…He hadn’t been on as he was helping his neighbor by working on their car.

I think walking for Dominic is an amazing idea. I’m sure you’ll get tonnes of support too. The oranges sounds like it was lots of fun :O) Take care xxx

*grins* I’m going to one of the only schools in Canada that doesn’t require a second language for a BA 🙂 Also should be taking Children’s lit next year, but have to talk to an advisor. Yay education! Sciences also scare me…its a shame you have to take all of them when you really only like one…most of them are too evil.
