*yawns* Just woke up, and need a nap already.

I’m tired…Even after a night of sleep…Just wanted to get a couple things in here though, in case I can’t manage to write tonight due to even more tiredness.

Animal sitings…There was a rose-breasted grosbeak staring in the window, I think Wednesday evening. He was litterly staring in the window too. He was perched on top of the one pole for the bird feeders. I’d seen one around here a couple years ago.
Raccoons last night…A good explanation as to why we are going through so much dog food. *laughs* We had 5 momas up here last night, and 7 babies! 5 of the babies belonged to one moma. We’ve had a moma come up here with two babies a couple times…The two babies that were up here last night seemed to be wandering around on their own…Not sure if it’s the same babies, and they snuck out (as they didn’t seem to be paired up with any of the momas present), or if they are a different set of twins and somethin has happened to their moma. Later on a moma and two babies were up again…So still not sure. *shrugs* Point is…Lots of raccoons…& hopefully I managed to get some good pictures.

We have two letterboxes waiting to go out. Wrote up the clues last night, just need to get them planted.
Sonja and I rode her and Harley’s bikes to our near-by locations so we could come up with our clues…Gods…Bike riding is harder than walking. O.o [Which makes me wonder if I’m going to survive Mackinac Island when we go.]

Things we are hoping to get done this summer:
1.) Go to Mackinac Island. It was already on the agenda, but we’ve added to our reasoning for going…There are quite a few letterboxes hidden on the island.
We are going to get the Mackinac Heritage package that I had before, which allows 2 adults and I can’t remember how many children, access to both forts (the one on the mainland and the one on the island), as well as the mill and the lighthouse. [I had this package when Raya was up. We went to both forts…The mill was closed by the time we got there.]  So all we have to do is pay for the ferry to the island on the day we go…& food and what not…& apparently bike rental, as Mum has decided that will probably be the best way to travel with the Critters on the island. I’m going to have to ride a bike built for 2! [Figure that way don’t have to worry about Harley…He’s still not up to riding by himself.]

2.) The dinosaur place. Sonja really wants to go back…Harley likes going too. Sonja’s asked about planting a box there. *laughs* 

3.) Michigan Adventure…The Bass Festival wanted $20.00 for wristbands to ride all day…Michigan Adventure costs $25.00 for an all day pass, plus it’s got the waterpark included in that as well! Yeah, it’s a bit of a drive, but there are more rides, and the waterpark…For not much more and gas money. Sounds like a fairly good deal to me. Checked it out, Harley is tall enough for a lot of the rides, so it should be goods.

4.) Otsego County Fair…Though it might be a disappointment after Michigan Adventure. *laughs* If nothing else though, we’ll get to see animals, the Critters like animals.

5.) Traverse City’s first Comic Convention…I think they are calling it Cherry Capital Con now…I have to see if I can find some more information. I know it’s at Grand Traverse Resort, that’s about it…& that it’s the last two days of August, of which we’ve got the Critters for a day and a half of.

6.) Camping…Which we plan to do over the 4th, if we can get it all worked out. Stay at Whiting’s park for a few days…Watch the fireworks from there…Take off the next morning bound for Newago to take Sonja to camp. [The 4th is also Mum’s friend Cindy’s 50th birthday. So we are trying to get it so she’ll be at the fireworks too…Camping too. If it works how we are trying, we’ll have her camper trailer at the site.]

*thinks* Not sure if there is anything else specifically Critter related or not…

I want to go to NMC’s convention still…Though I’m not sure I’ll make it…It’s $25.00 per person I believe…I’m not sure Mum will really want to go…I don’t know if I’m up to going alone. James mentioned something about me having to tell him about the Comic Con once, might be able to talk  him into going to NMC’s..*shrugs* 
Then again, he had a thing going last night that he wanted me to go to, but I didn’t make it. If I hadn’t had the Critters, I might have gone…But I really didn’t want to take them into unknown enviroment, with unknown peoples (and there should of been quite a few of them).

Today is walkies…Unless something happens to it…The last two walkies days got cancelled.

Found three Letterboxes yesterday. Twas much of the funs.
The one was further away than we were figuring, but it was still a nice drive, and we found someplace we probably wouldn’t have otherwise. Well that goes for all three of them actually, not the further than we thought, but finding someplace. Two were at bridges. One made us feel like we were suppose to be mountain goats! *laughs* [Got to that one and realized we’d forgotten something to write with! So we had to put in our stamps in without writing even the date! Oh well…Just have to make sure to check and recheck the bag next time.

Think that’s about it currently…*wants more erasers to turn into stamps* *laughs* [Or to find a more proper medium to work with…I want to make bigger stamps! *laughs*]
