Scans of the stamps I’ve made thus far…As there was a request made. *laughs*
I hope you can read my horrid writing…
*headdesk* I can’t believe I spelt cedar wrong. *falls over*
Does it resemble a penny? I tried.
Sonja requested a cat on the stamp she’s leaving in the box she’s planting. She’s already found a location!
It’s an awesome location too. I’m almost jealous. *laughs* She’s just too cool for words.
I know they aren’t anything beautiful…But I think they are pretty good considering they are my first attempts at such.
I’m having fun making stamps though…I’ve run out of erasers again. *laughs*
On another note…*smirks*
Got a letter from the Friend of the Court today…It was my copy of the letter they sent to Dan in response to his complaint and my answer to the complaint. [Regarding his complaint about ‘denied parenting time’.]
It was a happy letter…Even more so than I was hoping. I was just hoping that they would tell him that he couldn’t have those days. Which, they did…But another little bit in the letter gives us even better news.
In the custody agreement it reads that on the days that the kids have half-days or days they have completely off during the school year that Dan gets ‘first preference’.
We always thought that to mean that on those days he got them automatically, unless he was too busy, or whatever…Seems we were wrong.
Letter reads as thus: ‘After further review, "first preference" is viewed by this office as being afforded to you when the Defendant is unavailable to care for the minor children and thus, no violation is deemed to have taken place.’ Which means…As long as I’m around when the Critters have days off from school, or half-days of school, then they are to stay with me, they are not required to go to Dan’s.
[This letter was mailed out on my birthday…So…Happy Birthday to me! I’m just happy 1.) Because the Friend of the Court proved I was in the right. 2.) It means the Critters don’t have to dread so many days next school year.]
Back to letterboxing briefly before I go…As I have to chase Harley off the computer, which means me off the computer as well…It just works better that way.
I’ve got the first letterbox ready for planting…I just need to get it put in place, iron out the last of the clues, and get it posted online. In addition, we’ve added a hitchhiker to our box, so we will be sending it off on it’s way as well. I hope it goes far, that would be too cool.
Sonja just needs a box & notebook so she can place her first ‘personal’ letterbox. Like I mentioned earlier, she’s found an awesome spot!
awesome.

I’m thrilled with the friend of the court letter. So very very happy. And I really don’t get this whole ‘letterboxing’ thing. It’s not something we seem to have. Or, if it is, I’ve never heard of it before! Loving the stamps though – and it really does look like a penny :O) xxx
