Putting something up here.

Been tired lately…I think it’s lack of fresh air, seriously.
The days I worked outside I had more energy, was in a better mood, blah, blah, blah.
The last little bit there hasn’t been anything I could do outside (combo of weather and lack of materials), and I think it’s depressed me.
Right now, the sun is shining, the sky is blue…And I have no materials to work with. *sigh* Hopefully Mum gets back and can go in and get me some pallets…Then I’ll at least be able to work on the fence, what’s left of it. The bramble fence is almost done. *smiles*

Started walking with Libby again Friday. A full lap around Boyne. It felt pretty good. Didn’t really get too tired, and it wasn’t too cold or too warm.
The Mushroom Festival is in town…But per what has become usual, it sucked. Blah. Hopefully the Bass Festival (at least the flea market) is a bit better.
We’re saving carnival rides for the fair. [They want $40.00 for wrist bands for the Bass Fest. this year!]

After walking we went to one of Mum’s friends from when she worked at Lexamar. Actually it’s the ‘beach house’ he owns, and is redoing a bit, then renting out. This is the same guy, Steve, who we took the Critters to his campsite at Whitings a couple years ago, and Harley declared that ‘his’ camp. *laughs*
I need Mum to get a hold of him again…He said that we can get telephone poles, cut to the size we want, for free…All we have to do is tell them we want them for landscaping…But didn’t catch where you get a hold of who’s in charge of such.

I want to get the ‘cottage’ (The Critter’s playhouse/fort/etc.) in the front yard at least started. If it turns out how I want, I want to go ahead and put my ‘cabin’ out back. Mum says she knows she can get to one point out back. Might not be able to get it to my original destination for my cabin…But where she knows she can get, there is a pretty good place that I could put the cabin in at…& it’s got more of a cleared out spot already. [I’d have to work around more trees, and through more trees at the initial location I had picked out.]
I just so want to get started on this! [Though I do need a few more things in the line of tools.]

Got the rest of Sonja’s camp paid for. *smiles* Now just need to go through her clothes, see what she has, and take her shopping for the remainder of her needs. She’ll be gone for two weeks again, so she’ll need to ‘dress’ outfits…I’m not sure if she has anything left in the way of khaki bottoms or white tops. [Would be white bottoms or khaki either one…But seriously, khaki in the middle of the woods for bottoms in bad enough…I don’t even want to think about white out there! *laughs*]

Speaking of Critters…They shall be returning today. *grins*
Friday was the first time in six weeks that was not my week-end that Sonja didn’t wake up crying and saying she didn’t want to go. No, it’s not some miracle…Their father & his hippo both had ‘Spring school’ for the Fire department this week-end. So the Critters got picked up by their Aunt Patty Friday, and spend the week-end with their other grandma. So they were feeling much better about the whole week-end. Katie is suppose to bring them back sometime today.

Well, me thinks that is about it for the moment…Think I’m going to go play a bit of Free Realms, then run into town for the paper & some little tools.

well i am glad they had one good weekend that was not dreaded. oh.. a little cabin.. that sounds lovely.. good luck with getting your building materials and stuff. and it is ok if the thoughts fly away. it happens often enough to me! *laughs* MUAH take care. go sit outside for a bit if you feel better after being outside. *blows kisses and runs off*

*sigh* Your entry reminded me of so many things…Of the two summers I spend in MI. The cabin and cottage projects sound really nice! I hope you get them finished. Yay for outdoor housing! Heh. Yay for walkies again! *sigh again* *lol* I would be outside more, myself, but Louisiana’s humidity & heat is too much to bear for a long length of time on most days. Yay for theCritters’ return! *HUGS* I love you, Sissy.

peaking of walking I’m going to walk everyday.

I’m really glad they had a good weekend, by the sounds of things you all need it :O) I hope you get all your landscaping done, sounds exciting! I’ve decided that I’m going to sort out my yards when I’m on my summer holidays. Take care xxx

I love outdoor projects. Working on them makes me feel like I’ve actually done something. Wish I had a yard (my parents aren’t so interested in me using their yard for projects/experiments)
