Photography Entry: Lots O’ Piccies

Okay…I should of seen to shrinking these before uploading them…Too late now. *shrugs* Anyway…Here are some of the photos I’ve taken for Photography. Most of them come from my self-directed. The remaining ones come from the portraits assignment.

Above: A statue of a girl that was on top of a tall pillar. I had a picture with Buddy up by her, but a light leak ruined it.
Below: Old headstones…I just liked the looks of them.

Above: Two pictures of Buddy. He’s hanging out in a tree at the old asylum. [You can barely see part of the building in the upper right corner. I’ll have to print out actual pictures of it…I did take some.]

Below: Harley in the big cemetery in Petoskey, with Buddy, & wearing his Tripp coat even. Isn’t he cute?  Oh yeah…& there is the canon, which is what Harley was excited about. Though he did seem to enjoy the stroll through the cemetery. *grins*

Above: Harley sitting at the computer…One of his favorite places. It’s a bit blurry though.  I need to get a couple good shots of him somewhere along the lines.

Below: Same picture, but different filters.  The first one is @ 3.5, the second 2.5.  I think, for the subject matter the stark black & white of the 3.5 works the best…But I wanted to see how it would look in a softer light as well. The teacher, when looking at the negatives, commented that it would of been better if you could see more of the bridge, add more to the thought that she was getting ready to take a step off. But…I didn’t want to get soggy…So I took what I could. *laughs*

Below: This is one of the concept shots I’d had. Despite it not being black, her hair sure looks it here, which really works with the theme. She’s wearing my clothes. *pokes at her* & holding my rat! *laughs* So yeah, Zetsu got to sneak into some pictures as well…He looks a lot darker in his front than he is too. But I do so love this picture.

photobucket

Above: Sonja and Zetsu again. This one was actually more of her thought on a pose. Which she was doing quite good with too. She is sooooo good at this.

Below: Another one of the concept pictures I had in mind. I had wanted more ‘dramatic’ stones for background…But it was a tiny cemetery, so I took what I could get. Would of loved to be able to do this up to the cemetery in Petoskey…I’m sure I could of found the perfect background there.

Below: Looking deceptively nice, & sweet, & innocent…Reese. Shhhhh…Don’t tell her I put this here, she’d kill me.

Above: That would be James. Though he as since cut his hair…So it’s short on top, but still has ponytail.

Below: Not a picture I took…But an award I recieved tonight at the NMC magazine launch party…The monitary award will be coming in the mail…I don’t know how much it is though…Can’t imagine it’d be too much though.

I will get to words of thinking & stuff laters. Just look at pictures for now.
