Void…
Let’s see…We’ll start with what was decided yesterday at the mediation thing.
It’s still the same holiday schedule & the every other week-end during the school year.
When they have days & half days off from school he gets preference to whether or not he wants them. [Not thrilled with the idea, but it will save from having to have Mum take off time, or to find a babysitter.]
Even # years I get them for the week between Christmas and New Year’s, & Spring Break. [Which means I get them for all except the Christmas Eve parenting time this Christmas.]
Odd # years Dan gets them for the week between Christmas and New Year’s (Eve actually)…Which means, he gets them the day after Christmas, till December 31st…& Spring Break. [Which means he’ll get them Spring Break this year, even though he already had them last year. *glares at him*]
& the part Sonja REALLY hates…Every other week during the summer…But that is also with the stipulation that they get to go to their summer camps. Which means Sonja will be gone for 2 weeks of that (I’m sure she’ll be pushing for 3 weeks or the whole month)…Harley, hopefully will be ready for camp and can be saved from it. (If I can manage it, I’ll see that Harley’s camp time is during the week he’s suppose to be with Dan…Will make him feel better.)
He wanted them 4 hours on their birthdays…Compromised on 2, and I will be going to pick them up, that way he can’t ‘forget’ what time they are suppose to be home, or get ‘sidetracked’ like he has the tendency to do. *rolls eyes*
No, I’m not completely happy…But it’s better than what he was wanting, and it goes pretty much by the parenting handbook that Friend of the Court hands out to everyone.
Today…Walkies…Attempt at shopping…Failed!
I’ve got a new pair of jeans to start school off in (& the Critters have all their stuff taken care of, as I took Harley shopping after I got back from the meeting yesterday…He’s a happy Critter.), but no shirt to go with it…And thus far, can not find one I like. Checked out Petoskey today after walking, and there was nothing that cried out buy me.
Tomorrow Mum & I are going down the river. *grins* Then to Gaylord for attempt and shopping part 2…& Hot wings! J
Think that’s about it…Other than the Critters are gone, and it seems like there is a void hanging over the house. L *sigh*
I’m glad things worked out alright at the meeting. Have fun on the river! That sounds like much fun. Yay for shopping! May this shopping trip yield goodies. *fills in void* *HUGS*

Your kids are lucky that he wants to see them or making some type of effort. *pokes my dad* when my rents seprated my mum had to get him to invite us to spend time with us. We’d call my dad when we were younger to do something and my dad would say no. Even though you guys arn’t happy at least he wants to. And at least it something…. Well hopes “camp” can be in the way and You should have kids

*hugs* sorry you’re missing the kiddos! Is there any age(before 18, obviously) that they’re allowed to make their own decisions about where they want to go and when?
