I’d test positive for Opiates

What was suppose to be in an entry for Tuesday, October 2, 2007.

I lost my cell phone. I remember shutting it off so it would be as such for class. It should of been safe in my bag…But…Somewhere along the lines, it’s disappeared. I took all the stuff out of my bag, looked all over in the car…No luck. Mum called my phone, no answer…I texted it saying that if someone got the message, that they had my phone, and to call, and I put in the house phone.
Going to see if the college has a lost and found…And if my phone has somehow managed to show up there.

Secondly…I think I may have been wrong when I’ve been declaring that Algebra hates me…It is I who hate Algebra. Algebra would be nice to me, if only give the chance. I think I figured out what was giving me trouble with Thursday’s work, so I can do it now…I hope…And Tuesday work, I got for the most part. Just a couple questions I need to figure out…And a couple I haven’t tackled yet.

My high school Algebra teacher wanted me to take more math classes…Because I could do the work. Thing is, I don’t like numbers that well…I prefer words. [Mayhaps why Arithmomancy is not my thing…*pokes at Numerology*]

There are ‘Further Reading’ books listed in my Polidori book…Alas, said books are all out of print apparently. I did find the one for sale…At $83.92! And as much as I adore my Polidori…*sigh* I just can’t dish out that kind of money for a book.

Speaking of books, got one in the mail today…Hopefully it’ll have some information I can use on my Papaveraceae presentation…Aside from that, I’m sure it has a lot of other interesting information.

Also got the move Immortality…Which was just bloody well confusing…But at least Timothy Spall has more time in it that he did The Bride. [It was an okay movie…Just confusing.] Plus…I got the first season of F-Troop. [Does not expect anyone to know what that is. *laughs* ] It was an old show…Prior to even me being little. [Around the same time as Dragnet if I’m remembering correctly. Which is another one I like.] I like to equate F-Troop with a live-action version of Go-Go Gophers. It’s just the whole same level of messed-upness. *giggles* [Really the only ‘military’ show I’d want to spend any time watching.]

Well…Should find out what Plant Bio’s quiz grade was tomorrow…

Oh yeah…Nearly forgot! Got English Project #1 back…I got a 93 [Which falls under the guise of…4.0] I gots an A! Also got the second quiz back…Which I forgot to do part of…I could do it and hand it in for a better grade…Haven’t decided if I’m going to yet or not…I got an 80 as it is…[3.5 I believe is what the paper said…So another B+]. I have some ‘suggested’ exercises I can do for extra credit…Dealing with run-on sentences, and comma placement. I’ll most likely attempt to do those…Extra Credit may be my friend. [Might need it if I bomb Project #2.]

Psych quiz on Wednesday…As always…Until after Thanksgiving anyway…Then they’ll be on Mondays instead. [Just what Monday needed.]

Wednesday:

First off…My title…In the past 3 days, I’ve eaten two dozen mini lemon poppy seed muffins (12 of those today!).

&…I have my cell phone back! *does the happy cell phone having dance*

I’ve also learned the codeine is not a painkiller in the least. [Take that you Tylenol 3 with codeine loving people!] – [Okay, so yeah, the body does turn a trace amount of it into morphine, which will kill pain…But that’s not the point! *laughs*]

And that I’m still maintaining my ‘C’ in psych.

I’ve got less than 2 weeks to get my Plant family presentation sorted out [Papaveraceae…Yes, I do just like writing it from memory, sue me. *smirks*]

I need to figure out what I’m doing about my English Project.

Not next week but the following I’ve got a Psych & a Bio quiz [Plus my group in Psych is that week…And they don’t seem overly interested in doing anything…Good-bye 200 points…*waves as they slip away*]

I have review questions in Bio for the week-end…Will be getting more on Monday…And perhaps, maybe, the results from the first quiz. [My teacher’s father died last Thursday…Guessing that’s why we didn’t have class last Monday.] 2 weeks is also going to see the end of the current teacher, and the other teacher coming in…*pokes at her* I hate unknown quantities.

Oh yeah…Yesterday…My Algebra teacher wore a shirt to class that said: 5 out of 4 people have trouble with fractions. [*shrugs* I don’t know…Just something random to add I suppose.]

I shall crack down and do something with English, and Bio this week-end…I have to get something done. & I’m still not sure what to do with that Psych Extra Credit chance. [I have a couple things to do in English for more points too that I need to get doing.]

Okay…I think I’d best be off now though…Sleep is wanting to claim me soon.

How did you find it, anyway? *pokes expensive book* Ouch! *has heard of Dragnet but none of the other shows* Yay for a movie with your rat in it! *grins* *pokes people in your Psych group* *kicks them* Bloody Muggles, anyway. i don’t like the numbers either my dear. i love that shirt. i found one that has shakespeare on it that is so funny.. well more than one actually. heh. i am such a geek.

I like Algebra, but I hate work that involves numbers in general. I think the presence of letters makes Algebra more appealing to me than other maths. I’m sure you’ve already thought to look for online copies of Polidori texts… I have never heard of Immortality; I ought to look it up. Oh, and I remember F-Troop. Well, I remember the re-runs on Nick at Nite or whatever. *lol*

i m always losing my phone or breaking it or something lol lots of homework and an old show i ve never heard of heh 🙂 good luck with algebra and get some sleep! xxx

ryn: I should have clarified. I meant e-texts. Sometimes you can get lucky and find e-books of rarely printed books online. It is doubtful, but maybe worth a try. But I figured you already tried that anyway…

good job on the english project. you know, there are three types of people in this world. Those who can count and those who can’t. (thought it would be a nice addition to the shirt with the fractions)
