It’s been 4 weeks already…

Okay, let’s see…*pokes at Algebra quiz* Eh…I don’t think I did too bad…But I’m not thinking I did amazing either. A good point…We got to leave right after taking the quiz, so I got out an hour and 20 minutes early.

Though when I got home, it was straight to trying and figure out my homework. I’m ready to set my Plant Bio book on fire (did push it off the futon at one point). We have review questions to do, to prepare us for the quiz on Monday…*sigh* I can’t do it! I can not find the answer to the questions. They just aren’t there! *kicks books ashes*
Went through and took notes on the bolded/off to the side words in my Psych book.

*has a list of things I have to do this week-end*

The finishing of the evil Bio review questions, of course
As well as going through and redoing my notes, in hopes some of the information stays.
Write another draft of my Reflective Essay…This one is to be my ‘Polished Draft’ [Read: The last bloody time I’m doing the effing thing!]
I have to write a reflective essay on writing the original reflective essay (this is something we will be doing to each of the 4 Essay projects that we do this semester).
English Quiz #2 (Which comes before pre-mentioned ‘Polished Draft’ as it will, hopefully, provide me with the last bits of details that will help to polish my essay.)
Plus…There are four readings to do…At least two of them are only a page a piece.

On top of that…I’ve got to start working on my Plant Family Presentation…I was going to see about using Artemisia as a plant family, but I wasn’t sure if there would be enough under it to have it be Economically Beneficially to whatever (which is what we are suppose to be babbling about for those six minutes)…Instead, I’m doing the Papaveraceae family…Is that cries of English not Latin out there? Simply put…Poppy! *hugs poppy plant*
PLUS…There is some tree identification thing…We have a list of 12 trees, and we have to sort them into two groups…Then those two groups into two groups…and over, and over again…Till everything is on it’s own, more or less…Or something like that.

And now…Information on Formal Project Two: Exploring the Arts

For this project, you are being asked to choose an area of art to explore and write about using the genre of a thesis-based essay of four to six pages. The range of choices you have is immense, so you should decide first on an area of general interest, then a more specific topic that both interests you and has public resonance.

Before you get too far into this project, you must submit a proposal. No project will be accepted without prior approval of the proposal.

From the very start of this project, you are expected to keep a research journal. This work may take the form of an informal, handwritten commentary on your progress, or a more formal, typed document.

This project will also contain an annotated bibliography.

Along with these documents, you will also include a reflective essay of approximately two pages that offers insight into the difficulties and successes you encountered during the completion of this project.

I’m going to attempt to make use of my love of Dr. John William Polidori. So I’m guessing it goes, ‘Literary’…’Gothic’…’Vampire’…Basically, I’m going to, if I can, make an attempt, at making the point, that if it wasn’t for my dear Polidori, that the vampires we all love so dearly today, wouldn’t be what they are, as he is the one who introduced the vampire in the form that is prevalent today…The handsome nobleman…Etc.

Other than that…Sonja was being troublesome about doing her homework. I should mind, but I’m not going to let it get to me as, if it keeps up, I plan on using it for a reason that she can’t go to the U.P. with Dan during his week up there…As I don’t think she, or Harley, need to be missing 2 days of school. It’s bloody well ridiculous.

Anyway…Not much else going on…Aside from realizing earlier that Raven skipped out on an Occlumency lesson to go to Slughorn’s party with Neville…*hides from Professor Snape* *laughs*

*skips off*

Log in to write a note

How are you going to manage your bio homework.. without the book??? *tries to fix it for you* lol Two days of school?! The only time we were ‘allowed’ to miss school, was when my mom didn’t trust my dad.. and took us down to my grandmother’s overnight… oO Two days of school is crazy.
